She and Mateo were sitting in Emma's room, going through her stuff. Taimur had just left the room, he had been sitting there for hours.

He was touching everything in her room, smelling her dresses from the closet. Eva had felt guilty for hiding the truth from him, she realized she had wronged them both. Taimur had every right to be with his daughter, to have known about her existence.

And Emma should have known who her father was, she had to be with him. They could have managed if only Eva would have been brave enough to tell Taimur the truth.

She had become selfish, it was her way of hurting Taimur, for making her leave.

"I am a horrible person", She said to Mateo.

They were sitting on Emma's bed her head was on his shoulder and he was rubbing her back with his hand.

" No Eva, you are a wonderful mother and an amazing wife. I love you, baby, for what you are", Mateo said trying to console her.

"How could I be a good mother, when I have kept my daughter away from her father. It's killing me, Mateo, he doesn't say anything but his eyes they always accuse me", She said crying.

"Hey, shhhh, you have to be strong baby, for Emma," Mateo said wiping her tears with his fingers.

"How will I face her, when she comes back? What she will think about me when she will find out I have lied to her about her father?" She said looking at him.

"She is just child honey, she won't even remember. She will forget everything when she will meet her father", He said as he kissed her forehead and started rubbing his fingers on her arm.

The doorbell ranged, they both looked at each other surprised. It was early morning, who could have come at this time.

" It must be Riyadh, I will check", Mateo said as he got up from the bed and left the room.

Eva followed him out of Emma's room, she was at the entrance of the living room, when Mateo opened the door.

They both were surprised to see the visitor, there was no doubt it was Taimur's wife, Riyadh was accompanying her.

She just greeted them with a nod of her head and stormed into the living room. She was wearing a grey trench coat reaching her knees over a grey top, paired with white skinny fit jeans and grey pumps.

She was tall and her three inches high pumps made her look taller, she was holding a white Himalayan crocodile Hermes bag with diamond studs in her ears and her pink diamond engagement ring on her ring finger. It looked like a rock on her long finger.

Her waist-long hair was tied in a loose bun and her face was devoid of any makeup, still, she made Eva feel ugly.

"Out everyone", She said as she entered the living room and then turned at Eva and said, " You stay".

There was an authority in her voice that made everyone nervous around her. Mateo and Riyadh who were standing in the doorway looked at Eva and shrugged their shoulders.

"Alia" She heard Taimur's voice, she turned and looked at him.

He was sitting on the sofa with a file in his hand, and his cell phone in the other.

"You can't Alia me every time Taimur", Alia, said wincing.

Eva felt Alia was affected by his voice, her name felt like a caress coming out of his mouth, she remembered how she was affected by him in the same way when they were together.

" I think I asked everyone to leave", She turned and looked at Diaz and Stryker who were busy with their laptops.

They looked at Taimur, he gave them a nod indicating to leave, they left the room and went out of the apartment, Riyadh followed them while Mateo went into their bedroom.

Eva was debating whether to leave or stay, Alia had asked her to stay but she didn't think it was a good idea. They both needed privacy, she was turning to follow Matt when she heard Alia.

"What do you want?" He asked looking annoyed.

"I need you to stop harassing them, rent an apartment or buy one I don't care, but you need to leave them alone, give them their privacy", She pointed in the direction of Eva with a nod of her head.

" She is her daughter, as much as she is mine, and we have to be at the same place. We don't know who the kidnapper will call next.

You think I want to be here, do you think it's making me feel less miserable than I already am?

It's just for a few days, please baby, don't make it more difficult for me than it already is", Taimur said as he walked towards Alia and held her hands.

Eva diverted her gaze from them, she felt awkward standing there.

"Please baby", He was pleading to her.

"I am sorry about your daughter", She sighed.

"Our daughter", He implied caressing Alia's cheek with his knuckles.

" Yes, our daughter", She said smiling.

Eva felt someone had knocked out the air from her lungs, had Taimur already planned to take Emma away from her?

She felt weak in her legs, unable to stand. She couldn't stand there anymore and look at them getting cozy with each other.

"Excuse Me", She said as she exited the living room and ran into the kitchen.
