Alia

She had fallen asleep in his arms, but when she woke up and looked at the wall clock it was three in the afternoon. She was hungry, she had last eaten on her flight, she was sure the last meal Taimur must have had would be the dinner last night. She carefully slid out of his arms making sure not to disturb his sleep, he was a very light sleeper and she didn't want to wake him up. He had looked so tired and wearied that it had made her worried.

She knew he was stressed about his daughter, but she was worried and all this stress he has overlooked himself. The stress of his daughter, being kidnapped and his ex coming back in his life.

She was sorry for Eva, Alia noticed she was still in love with Taimur, and it was not a surprise. Any woman can fall in love with Taimur, and Eva was the one on whom he had showered all his love and attention so how was it possible that she didn't fall in love with him?

From what Taimur had told her about Eva, she realized that she had a tough past, the death of her fiance in the plane crash, her joining the intelligence service, and being assigned a job to seduce Taimur. Eva should have been naive to have accepted that job, Taimur Al Jahan was not the man anyone in their right mind would ever try to mess up with.

He was an enigma and there was no way that if he set his eyes on something he would not get it, and the same was the case with Eva. She had fallen for him, she had mixed business with pleasure and had paid a very high price for it. She could understand the inner struggle Eva would have gone through falling in love with the supposed murderer of her fiance.

She knew Taimur had made a mistake, by letting her go and Eva was wrong in not fighting for her love. She should have fought with Taimur and had made him realized what mistake he was doing letting her go. If Alia would have been in Eva's place she would have done everything to be with Taimur, and when the truth was out that he had nothing to do with the death of her fiance.

The second mistake she did was to hide her pregnancy from Taimur if she would have told him Taimur would have accepted her back in his life. But maybe they were not destined to be with each other, and their fates have had played with them all along.

She felt sorry for both of them, they were both in love and they were meant to be together, but fate had different plans for them and now again their paths have crossed and Alia was dreading something very bad was about to happen. She didn't know what but she could sense it.

She didn't want to lose Taimur, he was her life and she won't be able to live without him. If only their lives were not so complicated, as they were now. She could feel how difficult it would have been for Eva's husband when he found out, Taimur Al Jahan was the lover of his wife in the past and she had a child with him. How insecure he would have been to compete with the most Charismatic man on the Earth.

She came out of the bedroom after changing into a night suit. Riyadh was sitting in the living room, a pizza box was open in front of him, he smiled when he looked at her.

" You must be hungry, I can share the pizza with you if you want", He said smiling.

"Thanks", She said as she sat on the couch opposite to him and took a slice of pizza from the box.

" Is he asleep"? Riyadh asked her.

Alia just nodded to him in answer and kept eating, she realized how hungry she was when she finished the slice in a few bites. She smiled shyly and picked up another piece.

"You might want to order one more, I am starving", She said.

Riyadh just chuckled and ordered two more pizza, hoping Taimur might wake up soon.

" You know this is the first time he slept for more than an hour in the last four days", Riyadh told her.

Alia looked at him shocked, she noticed in one glance at Taimur, that he had not been sleeping well, but she never thought he was not sleeping at all.

" I am worried about him", She told him honestly.

"I can see he still loves her, and he is not taking it very well, Riyadh I am worried. He says that he loves me and that I am the most important person in his life and for the first time in my life, I am having trouble believing him", She said.

"A man can love more than one woman", Riyadh said.

" How is that possible?" She asked.

"Like a mother loves all her children equally, she may favor one over other but her love is the same for everyone because God made her like that.

In the same way, a man can love more than one woman equally, he any favor one over the other but he is capable of loving them equally, that is how God has made men. And so there is a concept of polygamy in our religion for men. Because God knows a man can love more than one woman and he can keep them happy", Riyadh gave her a long explanation.

" You mean he will keep loving me even after she comes back in his life?" She asked in reassurance.

"I mean he loves you Alia, and I have never seen him so happy and content before in his life like he is after marrying you.

Yes, he loved Eva, but he never trusted her because she was lying and deceiving him since the day she met him, though she had fallen in love with him she had never acknowledged her feelings for him.

And you on another hand Alia, you know what he wants, without he even telling you. You know how he feels, and you never judge him for anything. You are his rock Alia, you are his strength, and trust me a thousand Eva Smith can't take that from you.

I like Eva, she is a nice woman no doubt, but she can never handle him the way you do, she can never tame him, she can never dominate him as you do.

He is a lion wild and untamed and only a lioness like you can keep him grounded", Riyadh was saying and Alia felt like a heavy burden was lifted from her heart.
