Eva
Alia and Taimur had just left their apartment, Riyadh and the other two FBI guys followed them after collecting their stuff. She asked Riyadh where they were going? Riyadh had given her the address and told her to be there, he had assured her that he will handle Taimur. But she should make sure not to bring Mateo, not after what had happened.
Eva had told Riyadh what had happened in the kitchen, and he looked distressed. Mateo had locked himself in the bedroom, he looked ashamed after what he had done, Eva didn't want to argue with him so she had left him undisturbed.
Riyadh had told her how much Taimur was obsessed with Alia and he would never allow anyone to hurt or insult her. She was going to be the future Queen and if someone disrespects her they disrespect the Azmaayir Monarchy.
Eva knew Mateo had acted on his instincts, he was feeling insecure because of Taimur. And she could understand his unrest but what he had done has complicated the situation for them. This was not any normal kidnapping, it looked like very powerful people were behind it.
If it would have been any normal case of abduction, the FBI would have cracked it within hours. But this was a very planned operation and whoever was behind this had done all his background work.
He knew exactly what contacts Taimur had, and if he had threatened Taimur with his daughter's life meant he was ready for the retaliation. She and Mateo could never find Emma on their own. Even if they had gone to the police it would have been difficult, the police would have helped them but there was no way they have outdone the FBI.
The kidnapper hadn't called and it's been more than 24 hours, McGill had told them it was important to stay in touch and make him talk, but he was too smart. They told them he was using satellite technology to call and it will take some time to trace it, and they were working on it and they will soon know the location from where the calls where being made and they just needed one more call for him.
Maybe the kidnapper had already figured that out that the FBI was onto his neck and one call from him will give him, and that's why he had stopped calling. She was worried for Emma, her girl was held captive and what her fathers were doing were having a duel.
She knew there was nothing much any of them could do, they needed the kidnapper to call. McGill had just called her and had told her to come to the apartment Riyadh had sent the address.
She went to the room, it was locked she knocked a few times before the lock clicked and she saw Mateo standing at the door, his eyes were blood red and his hairs were all over the place, she ignored him and walked to the closet, she pulled out a blouse and a skirt and went to the bathroom for a shower.
When she came out of the bathroom and was drying her hair, Mateo asked her if she was going somewhere. She ignored his question and kept drying her hairs with the hair drier. She tied them in a ponytail and applied gloss on her lips.
She went inside and pulled her handbag, checking if all her essentials were present in it. She came out of the closet and told Mateo she was going out.
"Are you going to him?" He asked looking hurt.
"Yes", She replied.
"Don't you think we can find her on our own, we can go to the police", His judgment was clouded by the hate he had for Taimur.
Riyadh had told her he hadn't slept the last four days, and that he was sure Alia was making him rest. Riyadh had ordered lunch for everyone and had left saying he would check on Alia and Taimur.
She had sat there waiting for them and Riyadh had returned after two hours, along with Taimur but Alia was not present along with them. Riyadh had told her she was tired after traveling and was taking rest.
Taimur was completely ignoring her, he didn't say her anything and that was good, she didn't want to speak to him either. She was embarrassed about what had taken place in their apartment.
Taimur was looking in better shape than he had looked in the morning he looked like he was well-rested. Eva didn't want to think about it but her mind was going again and again to what could have happened between Taimur and Alia in that hotel room. She had no right to think about that, it was not her business, but she couldn't stop thinking.
When Taimur had pulled the neck of his Henley shirt she had looked at the mark just below his collar bone, she was sure it was a hickey. She felt her face flush by heat, so that was the reason he looked fresh and relaxed.
They were discussing again why the kidnapper would have not called, she could note all the men in the room were getting restless. Especially, Stryker, he was pacing the room, Diaz had told her he was their best hitman and he loved beating the pulp out of criminal with his bare hands.
And the call they were waiting for since the last two days finally came.
