"He wanted us to know he has a connection to Italy", McGill said as he looked at the screen.

" Yeah", Taimur replied.

"But the RRH, all the members have been caught, there was no one remaining", Eva said.

" We never know, we caught all of the known members, some might be hidden and the only person that knows is David De Costa", Taimur replied.

If RRH was behind the kidnapping of Emma, they won't stop until they kill Taimur, but why did they kidnap Emma when they could have tried killing him directly, Eva thought disturbed.

"You are not planning to meet him are you?" Riyadh inquired.

"We don't have a choice, he wants us to go to him, he has led us to him. I don't think we have any choice", Taimur replied.

" They are bloody Sicilian Taimur, and they don't stop until their vendetta is won," Riyadh said looking aghast.

Eva knew that already, most of the Italian mafia belonged to Sicily and they were bloodthirsty mongrels. They won't stop anything until they got their revenge.

What if they had already killed Emma and were now using her as a bait to get Taimur and kill him eventually?

"Do we have any other choice? Does anybody here have any other solution?", He yelled.

The room went silent, there was nothing that remained to be said. Everyone was just speechless, Taimur was right, they didn't have any other option.

" Taimur", Eva called.

"I think we should get some coffee", Riyadh and the FBI agents left the room giving them privacy.

She rose from the sofa and walked and sat beside Taimur, she was trying to think of words that might not provoke him but it was difficult, he was too volatile these days, ready to explode at any moment.

" I am sorry, I am really sorry, if I could I would go back in time and change everything but I can't and I just want to tell how much this means to me, what you are doing to save Emma, it's all my fault, that these thugs have the nerve to blackmail you", She said.

"It's okk Eva, it's not your fault, you were not the reason I got involved with the RRH, it was my decision and all this is happening because of it. Yes, I am disappointed that you didn't even think I was worthy of knowing that I have a daughter but you have your reasons and I can't judge you", He replied sighing.

Eva couldn't believe what he said, was he really not blaming her for whatever happened? Did he really just say that it was not her fault. She didn't realize but tears had started gathering in her eyes and one broke out of her eye and rolled down her cheek.

Taimur was looking at her with his intense green eyes, his eyes followed the tear that rolled down from her eye to her cheek and then to her chin. He collected it on his fingertip and looked at it in awe.

" If you could have just trusted me, Eva, our daughter might have had a different life", He closed his fingers and fisted it.

"It's fate and we cannot fight it, I have a wife and family whom I love more than anyone, you have a husband and I am sure in future you will have kids with him, but right now all that matters to me is my daughter.

When I was with Alia, earlier in the morning she told me something that I had never noticed before, she told me you are afraid of me, she had seen it in your eyes.

" Taimur we both know, there is no use of this discussion, I know you love your wife and I have seen how much she loves you, believe me, I am really happy for you. Alia is a really very nice woman and I think you couldn't have gotten a better life partner than her", She replied.

"I know she is different, her life starts and ends on me, she loves me with all her heart. I feel guilty that I don't love her with all my heart, I still have someone in my heart and I am not giving her my whole heart." He said, looking at Eva.

He then raised his hands and held her face in it, he kept looking at her with longing.

"How can I make you love me, Eva?" He asked.

"Just tell me once, you have loved me, it was true love that we shared not just lust and desire", He said caressing her cheek with his thumb.

Eva wanted to tell him, that it was love and he is the only man she had ever loved neither Robb nor Mateo just him. But she controlled herself because she knew it would only result in a catastrophe. The madness she was seeing in his eyes had made her realize if he ever found out what she felt for him he will go to any extent to get her and that will only result in the disruption of the lives of people around them.

She kept her hands above his, which were holding her face and pulled them away and held them.

" I am sorry Taimur, that I have hurt you and have never reciprocated your feelings, but I am not good at faking, you know yourself", She said rubbing her thumbs on the back of his palm.

"Then why? Why did you keep my child? Why didn't you abort it when you found out?" He asked disturbed.

"You knew I loved my fiance, I was never able to date or love anyone after him. When I found out I was pregnant with your child, I thought this was the only chance I could be a mother because I never thought I would ever fall in love with anyone else until I met Mateo", She lied, she fucking lied to the man she loved the most, the man who was the father of her child.

Taimur was looking at her in grief, it was killing her to see him hurt in so much pain but she knew this was in the best interest of everyone.
