Eva felt like someone had crushed her heart mercilessly, she just stared at him for a long time.

"Qismat is dead?" She finally asked.

"Yes, she died a few months after you left, the horses are attached to their riders, and it seemed she had taken a liking to you and when you didn't come back she died with heartache. I never visited the farmhouse after that, I just couldn't, there are too many memories of you there. They are everywhere, in my office, my penthouse but I couldn't avoid going there but I could avoid going to the farmhouse so I just don't go", He said, they were still holding hands.

" I thought you hated me", Eva said.

"If I could have hated you, it would have been so much better, my life would not have been so complicated", He replied.

Eva smiled at his reply, it was the first time they were having a normal conversation with each other after years, maybe the last time was before Taimur found out she was a spy.

" Does she know about me?" He asked looking at her.

Eva didn't know what to say to him, of course, she never told Emma that Taimur was her real father. She didn't say anything just shook her head and said a no.

"Do you think, she will like me? Will she love me?" He asked Eva could see how disturbed he looked.

"She truly adores you, when she met you in the mall all she talked about was you for the next two days", Eva replied honestly.

She remembered how Enma was just talking about Tim and how much she liked him and wanted to meet him again, she had told Eva that Tim had told her that he would come and visit him. Eva didn't know who Tim was at that time and why her baby girl was so fascinated with him. But now she understood why Emma was so attracted to a stranger because he was her father and it was the attraction between their blood.

" I couldn't take her out of my mind since I met her, she is such an angel", He replied remembering.

"I am sorry, for hiding her from you, you would have taken better care of her", Eva said holding the side of his face with one hand.

Taimur just kept looking in her eyes, his gaze was so intense that it made Eva uncomfortable, he was looking at her like he was drinking in every expressed of hers.

"Will you promise me one thing?", She asked him.

" She is my daughter, Taimur Al Jahan's daughter, and she will get the status she deserves. There will always be a danger to her life and it would be best if she stayed in Azmaayir with me. And if you want to be with her, you will have to choose between your husband and me", He said coldly.

"You know that is never going to happen", Eva said miserably.

She could never do that to Mateo, she might not have loved him like she loved Taimur but she was loyal to him, and Mateo had always loved her she couldn't hurt him like that.

" Than I am afraid Eva, you will have to give up your daughter", He said in his signature ruthless way.

Was he blackmailing her with her daughter? If yes he should have known that he could never blackmail her he would never be successful in it, he was not before he won't be now. She had learned to live without him and she was sure she could live without Emma, knowing that she was safe

with her father where she belongs.

"There is no way in this world that you can be mine, isn't it?", He asked clenching his hands into fists.

" I am sorry Taimur, but you have to accept the reality", She said and saw him walk away from her once again in her life. She should have got habituated to it by now but it still hurt her.
