She came back to her apartment after Taimur left for the hotel, he had told her he was going to North Carolina, to meet David De Costa.

Eva was devastated, she knew about Italians they never forgave, and if Emma was alive they will only leave her in return of life and the life they would want would be of Taimur.

She didn't even want to think about it, Taimur had promised her he would not let anything happen to Emma, if he would have to give his life for her he would not think twice and all of this was happening because of her.

If only she would have told Taimur about Emma, she would have been safe with the security around her. Eva had done a mistake and Taimur might have to pay it with his life.

Taimur was optimistic he will find a way to get back Emma without any collateral damage, but Eva knew this won't be possible she had worked with Mafia once before in an assignment, and they were not even close to being as deadly as the RRH. They never thought twice before killing.

Mateo was waiting for her in their apartment, the moment she entered he came to her.

"Thank God you are back, I thought you might leave me", He said looking at her.

"Don't be silly Matt, you know very well I just went there for Emma", She replied

"Did you find anything?" He asked anxiously.

"Yes the RRH is behind the kidnapping, Taimur is going to meet their head, he is flying in a few hours", She said tossing her handbag on the couch and nearly falling on it.

Mateo looked at her bewildered, she knew he was in shock hearings the name of the RRH, it was quite a big event in the news for some weeks.

" What do they ask in return?" He asked.

"We don't know yet, but I think they will ask for Taimur. It was him they had always wanted for dismantling their organization. And due to his high security and power, they were not able to get to him. But now because of my stupidity, they will finally have him. If something happens to him it will be my fault", She said holding her head in both hands.

" You love him", Mateo said in shock.

Eva didn't reply she just sat looking at him, how was it so easy for everyone to read how much she loved Taimur, but why did Taimur never read her. Why did he want a confession from her, why he never understood her feelings.

"Mateo, this is not the time I want to discuss this, I am worried about Emma", She said in a cold voice.

" Eva are you going back to him?", He asked with suspicion.

She was mad at him, but she could never hate him. What Mateo had done was impulsive, she was mad at him at that time because she didn't know how Taimur might react after that. But thankfully Taimur had not mentioned it to her afterward.

"He loves you", Mateo said looking in her eyes.

" I know", Eva mumbled.

"I can't tell you how scared I am of losing you, Eva do you want to go back to him? It would be okay with me, I want to see you happy". He added.

" Matt if you ever mentioned this again I will kick you in your balls, okay?" Eva said annoyed.

What the hell did these men think about her, what was she some candy? That they could fight over her and whenever they wanted they would gift her to each other.

"I just want you to be happy", He said worried by her reaction.

Eva kissed him on his mouth and pulled back and said, " This is happy for me Matt, promise me you will always love me and be by my side forever".

"I love you, honey", He said.
