Eva smiled at him, she knew he loved her, more than anyone can in this world, and his love was just for her, it was not shared by anyone else. Though she loved Tim, she could never even think about going back to him. She would never be able to share him with Alia. Call her selfish but she wanted her man to be only in love with her and not anyone else.

" I love you, Matt", She said as she rested her head on his chest and fell asleep, it's been days since she had last slept.

She woke up by the ringing of the cell phone, she looked at the wall clock, it was 7 O'Clock in the morning.

Eva looked for her handbag it was lying on the floor near the couch, she carefully slid out of Mateo's arms and picked the bag and pulled out the cellphone from it.

It was Taimur's number, she got worried why he was calling, she knew he was in North Carolina and might have spoken with David De Costa, she quickly received the call.

"Hey", She said.

" Hi, I hope I didn't disturb you", Taimur said.

"No, is everything okay?", She asked in concern.

" I will be back by afternoon, can you come over to the apartment, we need to discuss something", He said.

Eva was suddenly engulfed by fear, Taimur sounded stressed out and it was not a good sign, she wanted to know what transpired between him and De Costa.

"I will be there, Taimur, what does De Costa say?" She asked dreading.

"Emma is fine, don't worry. We will get her back very soon", He replied, Eva knew he was hiding something from her.

" Taimur are you okay?"She asked again.

Taimur was silent for some time on the other side, she was holding her breath, wondering what he might say.

"I am fine Eva", He sounded tired.

" I will be there in the afternoon", She said and Taimur disconnected the call.

She turned and looked at Mateo, he was still sleeping, she walked to her bedroom to take a shower and then prepare breakfast, she was glad to hear that Emma was safe, at least some good news after so many days.

"Matt, I think we will need a good lawyer, Taimur told me that he doesn't want to share Emma's custody. He agreed just for visiting rights", Eva said pouring coffee for herself.

" Don't worry, I will find the best lawyer, he might be the Prince, but Emma is our daughter and he is not getting her", Mateo said eating the bacon.

Eva was grateful to him, she knew how much he loved Emma and he will do everything within his reach to keep Emma with them.

"Thanks, Matt", She replied.

" Eva, I will go with you in the afternoon", He said looking at her.

"Matt I don't think it's a good idea, Taimur has a very volatile temper, it's better if you stay away from him", She replied.

" Don't worry, I will handle myself", Mateo replied in a serious tone.

Eva took a deep breath, she knew Mateo won't listen to anything now, and he will go with her and she was worried how Taimur might react after seeing him.
