She took a deep breath and walked into the living room, thankfully Taimur was not there. She was getting anxious, she didn't want to be around him. He was clearly losing control and she didn't want to harm her relationship with Mateo because of Taimur.

She entered their room, Emma was already fast asleep after eating her favorite ice cream, Mateo was sitting beside her on the bed stroking her hair.

"Hey", Mateo said as he saw her.

Eva smiled at him and went and sat on the other side of the bed. She tugged Emma's blanket below her and took and placed her favorite alligator beside Emma on the bed. She knew Emma couldn't sleep without her and had brought it along with her.

"We will have to tell her about him", Mateo said breaking the silence.

"Yes, I know and I don't think he is going to wait any longer. He really looks impatient," Eva replied to him.

She wondered how she was going to tell Emma that Taimur was her father without hurting her. If Mateo had not come in her life and she would have been single, it would have been easier. But now Emma thought Mateo was her father and how she was going to explain a five-year-old the complexity of the situation.

"Let her sleep, we will discuss after she wakes up, about the best way to tell her", Mateo said.

Eva nodded in reply and laid down beside Emma on the bed it had been more than a week since she had gotten sleep, she fell asleep instantly as she put her head on the pillow.

Eva didn't know how much time she had been sleeping, but when she woke up Emma was not beside her, Mateo was fast asleep on the other side of the bed.

She sat up in the bed with a jerk and looked around the room for Emma, but she was nowhere. Eva got out of the bed in panic and walked to the door, and heard voices from behind, she opened the door and walked out.

Emma was sitting on Taimur's lap and he was tickling her and Emma was giggling continuously.

" Tim, stop", She said while giggling.

"No Princess, first you have to recite a poem for me", He said while tickling her.

" Mommy", Emma called out when she saw her.

Taimur turned around and looked at her when Emma called out to her. There was a smile on his beautiful face and his jade green eyes were filled with warmth.

"Mommy, look Tim is tickling me", Emma complained frowning.

" Ohh come on Princess, you promised you will recite a poem for me if I let you play a game on my phone", Taimur looked at Emma and said making an angry face.

"Okk, Tim, don't get mad. I will recite a poem", She said patting Taimur's cheek.

One Little, Two Little

Seven little, eight little, nine little hugs,

Ten little hugs for Daddy.

She hugged Taimur after she finished reciting the rhyme, Taimur was stunned he didn't even hug her back, he just sat there mesmerized.

Eva felt a knot in her stomach, her guilt was back and she found it nearly impossible to look at Taimur.

" Tim, you didn't like my song?" Emma asked noticing Taimur's silence.

" Mommy, did you stole me from Tim? Like the witch in tangled?" She asked innocently.

Eva felt someone squeezed her heart, she never thought her little girl would say something like this without knowing what havoc they caused in Eva's heart.

"Honey, the witch had locked daddy in a tower and that's why Daddy couldn't be with you. But then Daddy killed the witch and came back to Emma", Taimur replied to her, he has seen Eva go completely pale at Emma's question.

" Ohh Tim, did she hurt you?" Emma asked concerned after hearing what Taimur said.

"No Princess your Daddy is very strong", Taimur said flexing his arms.

Emma giggled at his gesture, she was still not looking convinced.

" Tim should I call you Daddy now?" She asked in a dilemma looking at Taimur.

"Call me Abi, Princess. Your brothers call me Abi", He said pinching Emma's nose.

" Do I have brothers? Where are they?" Emma asked excitedly.

"They are in our Castle Princess", Taimur replied smiling " And they are waiting for you", He added.

Eva was looking at the father and daughter, the ease with which Taimur had diverted Emma's mind was remarkable, she was grateful to him, that he didn't let Emma hate her.

"So can me and Mommy go live in the castle with you Tim, Abi", Emma said she was finding it difficult how to address Taimur.

" Yes Princess, Abi is gonna take Emma and Mommy back to the castle with him, where we all will live happily ever after", He replied to Emma, but his eyes were fixed on Eva and his voice held a promise.

Eva knew he was going to do everything in his power to get her, and she was finding it really difficult to resist him every time. Especially now, when he was looking at her with a storm of emotions in his green eyes.

Taimur kept his hand on Eva's hand which she had placed on the couch beside her and gave her a reassuring squeeze.
