CHAPTER 55

NEVER LOVE AGAIN

NARRATOR'S POV

"C'mon hurry up!" Zayn hollers.

"Hurry up lads!" Louis yelled.

"Shut up Louis. You'll be heard." Liam whispered.

"Go on. Walk fast." Harry instructed.

"Lads I'm hungry." Niall complained.

"We'll eat later Niall!" Liam hissed.

One Direction was so busy getting out of the hotel secretly from the prying eyes of the paps and the fans who hs been surrounding their hotel the entire day to get a glimpse of Harry and his mstery woman. The entire world has been wondering about her and yet the lads chose to remain silent because it was the best way they can handle the issue.

They had to wear surgical masks and had to put on another disguise so they wont attract anyone’s attention. As for Lindy, she was already inside the van waiting for the boys who is struggling to get out of the hotel. They headed out of the back door of the hotel and passed through the kitchen where they were allowed by the chef then marched their way out to the hotel's dumpster and finally getting on the van without being caught.

"Thank god! I'm safe!" Louis exclaimed while Liam shutting the van's door instantly while the restof the lads were taking off their disguises one by one.

"It's very very hard when you have to sneak out on a hotel." Niall whines.

"Were we caught?" Harry asked.

Liam and Zayn looked outside their windows to check the paps and they didn’t see one which was around and the lads were gleeful that they managed to escape their hotel room after being stuck there for hours, especially Harry and Lindy.

"I think not." Zayn answered.

"No paps. No fans." Liam added.

"Then off we go!" Louis exclaimed.

Paul started the engine and drives away from the hotel.

"Uh, where are we going exactly?" Niall questions..

"Remember that beach I told you when we got here a few weeks ago?" Liam stated.

Niall nodded and asked, "That's where we're going?”

Liam nods with a smile.

"We're going to that beach? Man, I'm getting excited!" Louis exclaimed, looking all excited and forgetting the trouble they had earlier.

"Is it a private beach?" Harry asked worriedly because he didn’t want fans or paps to follow them after what just happened this morning. Harry was more cautious now and he knows he needs to be more careful with his actions with Lindy because there will always be people with cameras.

"It is a private beach." Paul answered.

Harry moved his head to Lindy who was staring outside the window in silent. She was still worrying about the photo that Liam had posted and even though the alds were comforting her, she knows that sooner or later people will know about her and Harry and she is scared about it. They were sitting on the last row of seats on the van and Harry instantly noticed that Lindy was still feeling sad and bothered. He runs his hands on her waist as she moved her head to him.

"What's wrong?" Harry asked.

She moved closer to his chest and rested her head on his shoulder. "Nothing." She answered while she was playing with his big hands.

Harry kissed her hair as he placed her hand on her thigh. “Don’t think about it too much.”

"How long is the drive Paul?" Zayn blurted.

"Maybe an hour. It's kind of a secluded place so it's far from the city." Paul answered.

Liam glanced at his phone and stared at the time. "It just turned seven in the evening anyways. We've got time to swim." Liam blurted.

"Who's up for skinny dipping?!" Louis chimed happily.

"Harry loves swimming naked." Zayn said out loud while smirking.

Harry and Lindy turned their attention to the lads who were starting to get noisy and loud.

"Hey Lindy, will you be alright if we'll go skinny dipping tonight?" Niall asked.

"What kind of question is that Niall?” Harry was quick to comment. “I won't let my girlfriend join you guys doing that!"

The lads laugh.

"Who said we'll be near you when we'll skinny dip?" Niall added.

Lindy laughs.

After a while, they finally parked their van and stepped out excitedly. They looked around the quiet beach and saw a house on the shore while smoke was coming out from the chimney.

"Do you know the one who lives here Paul?" Zayn asked.

"No. But John said his uncle owns this beach." Paul answered.

John was one of their security guards and Paul’s right hand when it comes to accommodating and protecting the lads. They headed their way to the house while John was the one leading the way for everyone. As soon as they entered the small house, all of them were welcomed by the warmth of the home and a black piano in a corner. It was small but very homey and incredibly simple.

"Meet my Uncle Ben and his wife Aunt Taylor." John gestures.

"Ohh, Taylor." Louis teased with a smirk on his face while staring at Harry.

Harry stared at Louis sternly telling him to stop mentioning Taylor in front of Lindy. Louis just looked away quickly when he caught Lindy staring at him, the lads were trying so hard not to smile too.

"And their lovely daughter Leila." John added while the girl peeped her head out behind her mother.

"It's nice to meet all of you." Harry greeted formallywhile his arm was wrapped around Lindy's waist and the other hand was shaking the other's hands.

"You boys must be hungry." Aunt Taylor says politely.

"Very." Niall blurted.

"Niall." Liam hissed.

"Oh it's okay.” She smiles sweetly at the boys. “We were about to have dinner anyways. Come, I've set the table already. John called us that you were coming."

They walked their way to the dining table and sat down quietly.

"Are you One Direction?" The little girl blurted sheepishly.

"Yes we are love." Louis answered.

"Oh she's getting shy. She's a big fan of you boys." Aunt Taylor tells the lads.

"Don't be shy Leila. We are very friendly lads." Liam tells Leila who is being very shy.

Lindy pulled herself away. "I don't know. I just feel so down. I can't stop thinking about how we're going to be in the future. As I always tell you, you're always near yet so faraway from me."

"Baby--"

"Harry.” She cuts him off. “I don't know what's gonna happen to us in the future or even tomorrow. You'll be back on tour again and you'll be away for months but promise me one thing."

"What is it?"

"Do not lie to me."

He smiled at her and kissed her forehead a couple of times that made her giggle while his arm snakes behind her coming into hugging her again closer.

"I will always be faithful to you." he whispered while staring at the sea. “I will never lie to you.”

He knwos he jsut had to say that to make her feel better even though he knows that he is already hiding something from her about the management and the movie deal.

"Hey you two! Enough with the drama! Join us here c'mon!" Louis yelled.

Lindy pulled herself away and they stared at the other lads.

"The water is perfect!" Niall added.

She stands and turned back to Harry. "Cmon! Let's join them!" she cheered.

Harry stands and started taking off his clothes leaving his dark colored boxers on as they started joining the other lads on the beach.

When the lads had enough of swimming and playing around, Harry decided to stay wtih Lindy since she still wanted to stay in the waters. John came out and handed towels for everyone.

LIAM'S POV

"Honestly, I've never seen Harry this happy and I've never seen him putting so much effort on one girl. Like ever." Louis blurted.

I took a long drink from my beer as we stare at the lovers laughing on the beach. I know someday the management will come around and do something evil again to stop Harry from seeing her and beeing in a relationship with her.

"But Louis is right.” Niall agrees. “And to be honest, I like Lindy for him. She's just a normal girl and Harry's so damn lucky to find a woman who loves him not cos he's famous. Unlike all those other girls he met.”

"I don't know what's gonna happen to the two of them because I'm sure Modest! will do something to stop this news from getting big." I worried.

"Why is that management such a pain in the arse?" Louis asked.

"I'm scared of what will happen to them when we'll be back on tour. I'm sure The management will post some rumors again that Harry is going on a fake date." Niall added.

"And, he'll be forced to deny about his relationship with Lindy which will definitely hurt her so bad for sure." Zayn continued.

I sigh as I hear Zayn adds, “I don’t like it when the management meddles with our personal lives.”

"Why is love so difficult for celebrities?" I asked out of the blue, which was actually true. Even though I'm free to date Sophia, I still know some celebrities who can't love somebody freely and had to hide their real sexuality in the closet because it will ruin their fame.

"When you're too famous and the management needs you to attain that fame, they'll do any thing just to keep you on the top." Zayn answered.

"It's sickening." Louis spat.

"I just want them to be happy. Look at them." Niall blurted.

"She makes Harry happy." I say.

“She’s been awfully quiet and sad the entire day and I know something that can make Lindy smile.” Louis smiles evilly and I know he has another brilliant plan.
