HARRY’S POV

I glance at Dan and Patrick again. “I cannot just spill her name, can I? I mean, the woman needs some privacy too.”

“We know you have been pretty elusive lately.” She complimented and I hate how an interview becomes all about me. I mean we are a band so why aren’t they asking the lads other quesions and stop focusing it all the time on me. “Can we know who she is to Harry Styles?”

“Like I said before, she is very very close to me." I say as I shift on my seat while Patrick gives me the look in his eyes while he gestures his hand against his neck telling me to stop talking about Lindy. “And I think it is really inappropriate to talk about someone who does not know she is being talked about.”

I clear my throat as Chelsea continues to push it, "You were also caught by a pap hugging and snogging a woman on a balcony. Was is also her from the picture that Liam tweeted?"

I didn’t want to answer the question.

“Was it the same woman from all the photos you posted on your socials?” She adds.

“I mean, it is what it is. I think I should let the people guess who she is because I am practically not obliged to tell people who I am hanging out all the time, am I?” I asked her back, getting more annoyed the more she asks me about Lindy.

She nods at me and smile sweetly and damn I am beginning to hate her smile."People have been asking about it, people have been talking about it but the other guys in here have been quiet about the issue too. Who is she?" she asked again, knowing that I didn't answer her clearly earlier.

I cleared my throat. "She is... someone special to me and to the other lads."

They all nodded in agreement.

"So that was your mystery girl? She's that special to you. She must be very lucky. Won't you tell us her name?" she asked.

I pursed my lips together.

"You know." Liam snapped.

I moved my head to him as he continues to say, "We all have special people in our lives that we want to protect their privacy." Liam backed me up.

I smiled.

Niall nods, “I think what Harry is trying to point out is that, we all want to respect that woman’s privacy. We cannot just give out her name and tell the world about her.”

I nod.

“I mean…” Louis adds. “She is very dear to us. To all of us, not only to Harry so I don’t think it’s appropriate to label her as Mystery Woman. We all have people who means a lot to us and I hope people will respect that.”

“Harry’s not really obliged to say anything about her anyways.” Zayn adds.

I smiled and noticed that Patrick and Dan were getting more annoyed so I smiled at myself thinking how these four lads are all backing me up and supporting me on this.

"Alright. Fair point and very well said. Thank you boys.” Chelsea smiles. “How about the taken lads in the band, how are your relationships going so far?" she asked the others.

I exhaled and rested my tensed shoulders and back on the couch as I cover my lipwith my finger.

"Pretty well." Louis answered.

"We try our best to make time for our girlfriends." Liam answers casually. “Louis on the other hand surprised Eleanor a week ago, didn’t you Louis?”

Louis nods and I know what these two are trying to do. They usually have long narratives about themselves to buy more time so the issue about Paige will not be raised and I can save my ass. Liam and Louis are usually the ones who teams up when it comes to narratives and story telling during interviews and they are both so well at speaking nonstop.

"But what do you do when you're far away from your girlfriends or you have a misunderstanding, it could be tough right?” Chelsea asks seriously.

I turned to Zayn who travelled his eyes at me as I mouth to him, "Sex texting." I smirked as Zayn laughs softly on his seat while covering his smile with his hand.

"It is hard when you talk it over the phone because it is much better when you talk about an arguemen in person.” Liam answers.

Zayn nods, “That’s true but it’s so hard to fight when you’re on the phone because the more you want to talk things out, the bigger the arguement because everything is different when you’re on the line.”

Liam nods in agreement and I wanted to nod too but then I remember that the entire world thinks I am single so I remained silent. Liam continues, “But you know, if you have trust on each other then it will work out really fine. No matter the distance.”

"That's true." Zayn agreed.

The interview continued as they were talking more about love and getting in touch with a more touchy topic about relationships which Niall and I decided to stay quiet. Liam and Louis were like preachers and joined in the bandwagon too. I was just silent trying to dodge possible questions that Chelsea is ready to swing at me.

"So Harry.” Chelsea calls out and here I thought I have saved myself. “How are things going with your special someone then?" Asking me again which makes it more irritating.

I moved my head up and stared at her for a while, trying to find the right words to aswer to her while I glance at Dan and Patrick. I know I had to keep my composure or else these guys can turn the whole interview around and can scrutinize me to every bit with every chance they have and make me look bad to the people and to the fans.

"Everything is fine. Thanks for asking." I answered.

"He's lying. They fought yesterday. They were like..." Louis interrupted while making funny faces to make the interview livelier but I didn’t like how Louis said that out loud because people will more suspect that I am really taking.

I smiled at myself while noticing the lads laughing softly too.

"You fought with her?" she asked.

I smiled and nodded.

Even though I couldn't say out loud that I was taken, I still made the interviewer think and suspect that I was. Everything's gonna be okay soon because I'm going back to Canada again and I'm going to take Lindy publicly. No one's gonna stop me.

Not even the management, the haters or what the fans will say against her.

When the concert ended, I hurriedly called Lindy via FaceTime as I rushed to the room where there was a grand piano. I waited for Lindy to answer because I have been wanting to surprise her.

“Hey.” She finally answers with a smile as I see her lying down on her bed.

I smile the moment I saw her face, “Hi baby. I have a surprise for you.”

Her brows creasing, “What is it?”

“Can you put on your headphones for me babe?”

She nods, “Sure.” She answers while reaching out for her headphones and plugging them as I walk to the piano and sat down on the piano chair. “What are you doing?”

“You’ll see.” I smile at her as I fix my phone where she can see me playing the piano. I played some chords, “Can you hear my voice?”

She nods, “Yes.”

I played the song that I played for her the last time and she smiles as soon as she hears it.

“I don’t wanna know this feeling unless it’s you and me. I don’t wanna waste a moment.” I sing the lyrics she wrote on my notebook. I continuued playing as I sing, “And I don’t wanna give somebody else the better part of me. I would rather wait for you.”

I breathe, “Don’t wanna feel another touch. Don’t wanna start another fire. Don’t wanna know another kiss.” I turn my eyes to Lindy who is now in tears, “Baby unless they are your lips.”

I closed my eyes as I try to feel the lyrics and the message of the song. “Don’t wanna give my heart away to another stranger. Or let another day begin, won’t even let the sunlight in. No I’ll never love again.”

As soon as I finished the song, I stare at Lindy who is crying silently on her bed as she wipes her eyes with the back of her hand. “Oh baby.” She sobs and I cant help but laugh at her.

“Why are you crying?”

“Because you used my lyrics.”

“I’m sorry if I sued it without asking you. I just--”

“Harry I don’t mind.” She tells me with a smile. “It’s just overwhelming to hear that again. Please, finish that song, for me.”
