As the night went on, the snow in Padstow was coming down heavier and heavier, piling up to almost 20 inches deep.

Willow woke up in the middle of the night, surrounded by complete stillness.

They took a private jet to a neighboring city, then transferred to a helicopter that flew them near the hote

In the snowy night, Timothy and Heather braved the blizzard, trekking half an hour on foot to reach the hotel.

On the way back to the helicopter, Timothy carried Willow all the way there.

By then, Willow was dizzy and extremely weak.

Heather’s heart ached as she stroked Willow’s head, calling her name gently.

“Willow, my little girl. Mommy’s here. Everything will be fine. Timothy, why don’t you take a break? Let me carry her.”
