'What's in there?'

The human wondered while reaching for one of the bags. He opened it and saw seven pairs of sleeping pajamas. Each pair was pretty and had different flower designs that were scattered around the black clothing. The material felt good on his hands but the clothing felt expensive.

'They seem pricey.'

Zane set the pairs back in the bag and picked up the second bag. In it, he found three medium-sized boxes. He opened them and saw footwear. One pair of black slippers and two pairs of Vans sneakers, all in size six.

"How did he know?" The human mumbled to himself.

He reached for the last bag and opened it to see more clothing. There were four pairs of button-up shirts, all in different colors. The elder saw three pairs of black skinny jeans, two pairs of blue denim jeans, three pairs of sweatpants, six t-shirts and six pairs of black shorts. There were four oversized hoodies that had cute Disney cartoons printed on them. Zane saw two pairs of knitted sweaters, one of them was light purple and the other was ruby red. There were also pairs of undershirts and boxers. The angel set the bag down and shook his head. The wolf shouldn't have spent this much money on him. Zane picked up the phone and his fingers trembled as they hovered above Siddarth's contact. After a deep breath, the human tapped the name and heard the phone ring. On the third ring, the wolf picked up and Zane pressed the phone to his ear.

"S-Siddarth."

"Is something wrong?" The other man's deep voice asked and Zane gulped.

"This is too much for me to keep." He said truthfully.

"Throw away what you don't like."

The human sighed at the wolf's answer. He liked the clothing but he felt bad for the wolf who spent money on him. Again, he felt like a burden but throwing new clothing away would be stupid.

"I-I'll keep it but please don't waste money on me again."

"Anything else?"

"That's all, b-bye."

The human ended the call with a pout and looked at the bags. If he didn't keep all this stuff, Zane would throw it away. Which would make the wolf's money go into waste. Not wanting to cause the man any trouble, the human decided to keep what was given. Zane picked up his clothing and arranged it in the large closet neatly. He did the same with the shoe boxes and smiled tiredly. The man wasn't hungry but he was in the strong need of rest. Zane picked up a pair of sleeping pajamas and closed the closet. He went inside the bathroom and saw a grey paper bag next to the sink. He looked inside to see a toothbrush, a fluffy blue towel, toothpaste, comb, two bottles of strawberry shower gel, shampoo, body lotion, face wash, and perfume.

The human changed into the sleeping clothes, wary of the bandages. He looked at his reflection and saw only a broken soul. Ignoring the pain, the human brushed his teeth and washed his face. He used the towel to dry his face and left the bathroom. Zane turned off the lights and climbed into the queen bed with a heavy heart. He laid under the sheets and laid his head on the soft pillows. Slowly, tears spilled out of his closed eyes. Zane pressed a hand to his mouth and cried silently. His heart began to hurt.

'Why did I fall for someone like him?'
