||Mishal's POV||
I smiled as I wrapped my arms tightly around a soft and fluffy pillow which had the same scent of Zayaan. I opened my eyes slowly and looked at the other side of bed and frowned when I didn't see him beside me. I sat up slowly and removed the duvet. I stood up slowly and went to the washroom.
After using the washroom, I entered the wardrobe and saw Zayaan was tying his tie. He looked up at me and walked towards me slowly. He stood in front of me and moved his right hand to my face and creased it softly and gently.
"I will pick you at 6," He told me, softly.
I leaned in his touch and looked in his eyes in confusion.
"I have a surprise for you," He answered my unasked question.
I nodded my head and slowly took a step towards him and wrapped my arms around him. He wrapped his arms around me back and kissed on my head.
I put my head on his chest and listened to his heartbeat which was like a melody for my ears. I didn't know how long we were standing like this but his phone ruined our moment.
He sighed in frustration and unwrapped his one arm from me and pulled his phone out of his pocket. I pulled myself away and looked up at him who was looking at his phone with narrowed eyes.
"I have to go," He told me and stepped back after kissing me last time on my forehead.
I watched him disappearing out of the wardrobe in disappointment then turned back to change my clothes. I changed into comfortable and loose clothes and went down for breakfast. I entered the dining hall and greeted amma bi who was sitting on the table and waiting for me.
"Today I told Rauza to cook everything you like," She told me, happily with a smile.
I smiled back at her and sat on her left side. Amma bi served me breakfast and filled my plate with everything. She kept ignoring me when I stopped her.
"You have to eat everything and I want your plate finished in 15 minutes," She ordered me, strictly.
I nodded my head slowly and tried to finish everything on my plate. The shocking thing was my plate was empty in five minutes and I was more hungry. Amma bi must have felt my hunger because she put more food on my plate.
"Start waking my son at 3 am," Amma bi said with a smile.
I looked at her in confusion and thought why would I have to wake him in the morning.
"Silly girl, start making him run here and there for your late night carvings," Amma bi said with gleaming in her eyes.
"When your dada was alive, I always made him run here and there for my late night carvings. And that time the shops and markets were 5 km away from our house," Amma bi told me and giggled to herself as she recalled all her memories.
I looked at her with a smile and admired her beauty. Her face was glowing, her lips had a warm and soft smile and her eyes held mixed emotions, especially a longing look. I quickly left my plate and got up from my seat and went to hug her. She cried silently but quickly wiped her tears.
"Oh my Allah! Here I am crying for him and it must be piercing and killing his soul," Amma bi whispered and smiled brightly at herself.
She grabbed my hand from her shoulder and kissed my palm. I gave her a glass of water and sat back on my seat on her left side.
"He always hated my tears because according to him, my eyes are just for looking at him softly, not for crying," Amma bi told me while putting her glass back on the table.
"He was always ready to kill anyone with his gun whenever I cried," She added and started eating her breakfast in silence.
We both ate breakfast in silence and every second later, I glanced at amma bi who was eating silently. After our breakfast, I and amma bi went outside on the lawn and sat on the comfortable chairs.
"Did he ever confess?" Amma bi broke the silence and asked me.
"Who? And what?" I asked in confusion.
"Did my grandson ever confess his feelings?" Amma bi asked me with a frown on her face.
I pressed my lips together and slouched my shoulders but the last night flashed in my mind and a little smile stretched on my lips. I was the only one who confessed the feelings last night but I saw the fight for feelings in his eyes last night and I knew one day he would confess his love.
"Did he?" Amma bi asked me again and placed her hand on my shoulder.
"He didn't but I believe that he will one day," I whispered, slowly and quietly.
Amma bi didn't respond but hummed softly and quietly. While sitting in my silence, my mind drifted to Zayaan and his plan for tonight.
"And what about you?" She asked me, softly.
"I did," I whispered, quietly and felt amma bi placed her hand on my shoulder.
"He will confess soon," She said with an encouraging smile.
I was silently wishing for that to come soon. After sitting outside for five minutes, amma bi made me go to my room and rest. I went back to my room and took a rest.

There was 1 hour left till the clock struck 6. Slowly, I stood up from the bed and went inside the wardrobe. After a healthy lunch, amma bi again made me take rest and wasn't letting my mind drift off anywhere else especially towards the last night incident.
