||Mishal's POV||
I opened my eyes and sat up slowly with a yawn. I rubbed my eyes then looked around the room. The wall in front of the bed was made of glass from where you could see the heavenly sight of mountains. On the ceiling, there was a beautiful and elegant chandelier.
For a second my mind was blank then I remembered last night I slept on the couch after Zayaan fed me. He must have taken me here but he wasn't in the room.
I removed the duvet from me but before I put my feet on the floor, he entered the room with a tray in his hands.
"Where are you going?" He asked me.
He came towards me and put the tray on the nightstand then turned to me and placed his lips on my forehead and kissed me. A sigh escaped from my lips and a smile stretched on my lips.
"Washroom," I told him with a smile.
He stepped aside and I stood up and went to the washroom. After using the washroom, I went back into the room and sat on the bed beside him. He took the tray from the nightstand and put it between us.
There were chocolate chip pancakes and two mugs of chocolate milk but there was only one fork and knife. Slowly, Zayaan fed me and also ate with the same fork which pleased my heart.
After we were done eating, he took the tray and walked out of the room. I stood up and followed him out of the room but went to the hall and opened the glass door. I stepped out of the hall to the patio and sat on the chair.
Suddenly, a beautiful fifteen to sixteen years old girl entered the patio and squealed as she looked at me. She came running towards me and quickly sat in front of me, near my feet.
"Wow! Everyone is telling the truth!" She said in awe as she stared at me with her cute big smile.
I looked at her in confusion but a smile also appeared on my lips as I looked at her cute face.
"Why are you sitting down? Come and sit here," I told her, softly and patted the chair beside me.
"Nah-ha! My abba always says never to sit beside and equal to you guys," She said with a smile and shook her head.
I frowned at her and opened my mouth to tell her again to sit beside me but stopped when I heard a voice from behind me.
"And how many times I have to tell you that none of our family members care about this," Zayaan said and stood beside me.
She smiled sheepishly at Zayaan and stood up slowly and sat beside me with a cute pout. I chuckled at her cute face and looked back at Zayaan who sat with us, in front of me.
"She is Rubab. Her parents are farmers in our land," He told me.
I nodded my head then turned to Rubab who looked at me with a grin on her face.
"Last night many workers caught a glimpse of you when Zayaan bhai was carrying you in his arms and since then they all are gushing about you and how cute you both were looking," She said and giggled.
I felt my cheeks turn red thinking about how many people had seen us last night.
"I am feeling jealous because I didn't witness that beautiful scene," She mumbled with a pout.
She started talking about everything and telling me everything about her village and mountains while I listened to her silently with a smile.
Suddenly, I felt so relaxed and a sigh escaped from my lips. I glanced from Rubab to Zayaan and was shocked to see my feet in Zayaan's lap and he was massaging them.
"Sir?" I heard a man's voice from behind me which made Zayaan to behind me.
"They are here. Waiting for you in the living hall," He added, on which Zayaan nodded his head.
I heard the footsteps behind me faded away and Zayaan put my feet back on the ground gently and stood up. Rubab also stood up and looked at both of us.
"I think that's my cue to leave," She whispered and ran to the same direction from which she came.
I looked at Zayaan who was already staring at me and put his hand forward for me. I slowly put my hand in his and stood up with his help.
"Who is here?" I asked him, silently but he didn't answer me.
He took me inside the house silently while I followed him in confusion. When we reached the living hall, I looked up at the guests and stilled.
A gasp escaped from my mouth and I looked at them with wide eyes. My eyes filled with tears and they flowed through my eyes one by one nonstop.
"I will be on the lawn," Zayaan said and slowly removed his hand.
I felt him slowly walking away from me but I didn't move my eyes from them.
