Of the Internet stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is Mr. CEO Your Wife Has Wanted a Divorce for a Long Time. The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to Divorce LONG 262. Let's read the author's Mr. CEO Your Wife Has Wanted a Divorce for a Long Time Internet story right here.
Chapter 262
Although, if handled properly, the impact might not be significant, but for Julia, it was certainly not a good thing
She glanced at Sophia and said in a calm tone, “Sophia is not a child anymore. From now on, she really needs to be more careful with her words and actions.”
If this matter wasn’t handled well, the impact on their family could be fatal!
“I, I-”
What she thought was a small matter had now escalated like this. Sophia was already scared. It had been a long time since anyone had scolded her so seriously. She felt wronged but had no choice but to admit her mistake, saying, “I
understand. 11l be more careful from now on.”
Old Lady Green didn’t say anything further.
Seeing her scolding her own granddaughter, Old Lady Green naturally didn’t feel very comfortable.
But this matter had indeed been caused by Sophia.
If it really affected the future of Wilson Tech’s autonomous vehicles, the loss would be too great.
Compared to that, Sophia being scolded once wasn’t really that much.
Thus, even though she felt uncomfortable, she didn’t argue for Sophia.
In any case, this matter was not something they could hide if they wanted to.
After all, if Cole insisted on terminating the contract, Franklin would inevitably find out sooner or later.
Julia understood this logic, and Janice and Old Lady Green naturally did too.
The meal had already been served, but none of them had touched their chopsticks.
They had already lost their appetite.
Julia squeezed her phone, thinking for a moment before taking a deep breath.
She stood up and left the private room, dialing Franklin’s number.
On the other end. Franklin picked up the phone quickly. “Hello?”
“Franklin.” Julia said. “Ive run into some trouble here…”
Chapter 262
She briefly recounted the events, then added, “At that time, her attitude was a bit aggressive. I couldn’t stand anyone speaking badly of my mother, and in the heat of the moment, I was misled, which led to this situation.”
After listening to her, Franklin replied, “You’re mistaken.”
“If they go to court, they won’t just ask for the termination of the contract and compensation for your company’s reputation damage.”
“They’ll also demand breach of contract penalties because, on the surface, it’s your fault that the cooperation can’t continue. Terminating the contract also results in losses for Cole, and they won’t just let you off the hook for that.”
Julia froze, replying, “Johnny didn’t mention this in the phone call.”
“He did it on purpose,” Franklin said.
“He downplayed the situation to make you think there’s room for negotiation, to let you lower your guard. By calling Johnny to admit the mistake and apologize, you’ve just given him a good opportunity to hold something over you.”
He then added, “If I’m not mistaken, Johnny has probably already recorded your conversation.”
Julia’s heart skipped a beat. It was only then that she suddenly realized, “So, she intentionally made me call Johnny? The goal was to leave evidence for them?”
Franklin replied, “Yes.”
Julia bit her lip.
She hadn’t expected Maggie to be so calculating.
It was only now that she understood this matter was far more complicated than she had originally thought.
After a moment of silence, she regained her composure and asked, “So, what should we do about this?”
Franklin was straightforward, “I might not be able to fix this. Cole has government backing, so I can’t touch Johnny.”

The readers' comments on the novel: Mr. CEO Your Wife Has Wanted a Divorce for a Long Time
Everytime I read new updates I am hoping to see Maggie completely moving on with her life not always checking where Franklin is up to with Julia. I think everyone reading this story by now understand that Franklin doesn't care about Julia. So what is the point of always pointing out how indifferent Franklin is to Maggie and how attentive he is towards Julia....
What does Helen mean Maggie is still married? Married to whom? Franklin has made it clear that he doesn't consider her anything and is flaunting his relationship with Julia for anyone who has eyes to witness it.So Maggie should wait for the divorce to be finalized to date. Isn't that double standards. And Franklin is dragging the divorce deliberately since divorced or not he does what he wants without any consequences. Really women are emotionally oppressed even authors only know that point of view 😕...
I feel sad for Maggie and all married women who have to endure emotional abuse with no end in sight. By the look of it,Franklin doesn't want to divorce Maggie for whatever reason. Either the reason is good or bad, Maggie shouldn't be humiliated like this just because she loves him. And the grandmother should be helping her get a divorce not emotionally blackmailing her, if she really cared about her. Franklin is using Maggie's love for the grandmother to abuse her. Is really loving people wrong? Author this one-sided hurt is not right. Let Maggie move on with dignity. It shouldn't end up with Franklin professing his love for her and her accepting it....
