After finishing the call with Isabella, Maggie hung up the phone. About ten minutes later, Franklin sent her the time and location for Isabella’s training the next day.

The car only had Isabella and the driver. 

Franklin was not there.

Isabella’s coach froze for a moment and then smiled, “Oh, so you’re Isabella’s mom?” 

Maggie nodded and shook his hand. 

Over the past six months, whenever Isabella came to the fencing hall for training, it was always Franklin or Julia, or sometimes both of them, who accompanied her.

He knew Julia was Franklin’s girlfriend but was not Isabella’s mother. 

Isabella always came for training with her father or her father’s girlfriend, but her biological mother had never appeared. At the time, he had assumed that Isabella’s mother must have either divorced Franklin or even passed 

away. 

Now that Maggie had appeared, it meant that Isabella’s mother was not dead. 

In that case, Franklin and Maggie must have been divorced.
