“What happened?” 

“You know that charity gala I had to attend today? Well, I ran into your worthless father arid Julia there!” 

“Just now, at the event, a girl started calling Julia a bitch and accused her of stealing her fiance. She threw a glass of red wine on Julia, and the scene got pretty ugly.

Jessica sent her the live–stream video. 

Maggie opened it. 

The gala had some performances, loud and chaotic, and the camera angle was too far, making it hard to hear what was being said. 

However, the video clearly captured the scene where the girl approached Julia, argued with her, and poured red wine over her. 

Then, the girl’s fiance arrived and tried to stop the girl, leading to a heated argument. 

Soon, the girl’s family arrived. 

Jessica was right; the girl’s family seemed well–off, as they acted very arrogantly toward the Brown family. Logan lowered his posture, seemingly trying to reason with them, but the girl’s family didn’t want to listen at all. They kept insulting the Brow family. 

The Brown family’s expressions grew increasingly unpleasant.
