Of the Internet stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is Mr. CEO Your Wife Has Wanted a Divorce for a Long Time. The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to Divorce Long 95. Let's read the author's Mr. CEO Your Wife Has Wanted a Divorce for a Long Time Internet story right here.
Chapter 95
Franklin stood up without another word and walked toward the stairs.
After a brief pause, Levi smiled and said. “Well it’s definitely more sincere for Franklin to call her.”
It was true that when a child asked, the tone could come off as too perfunctory.
Ihlia also understood this logic.
However, she wasn’t overly concerned. After all, Franklin’s purpose was simply to report to the old lady. Him going upstairs to call Maggie didn’t mean anything more.
Franklin had never had any feelings for Maggie, and it was even less likely now.
Isabella, on the other hand, was anxious. She tightly pursed her lips, clearly worried.
She was afraid that if Franklin went upstairs to call her, her mother might actually come down. After all, her mother was the most likely to listen to her father.
Back in her room, Maggie had ordered some food and was busy working on her computer.
After a while, she heard the sound of a door opening.
She looked up and saw Franklin entering the room with a room card in hand.
Thinking he had just returned to fetch something, she gave him a cursory glance and then returned her attention to her work.
But before she could continue typing, Franklin spoke.
“The bonfire feast downstairs is quite lively. Would you like to come down and join us?”
Maggie paused.
Just like Levi, she also thought Franklin had only come upstairs to invite her as a way of placating the old lady. It didn’t mean anything more than that.
And even if it did mean something, she didn’t care anymore.
“I still have work to do, so I won’t be coming down,” she replied. Then, as if to reassure him, she added, “Don’t worry. If Grandma asks, I’ll make sure to cooperate.”
Upon hearing this, Franklin gave her a fleeting smile. His deep, intense gaze lingered on her for a moment.
Maggie, noticing his gaze, felt a slight unease. Though they had known each other for many years and had been married for so long she often felt like she didn’t truly understand him.
His emotions always seemed veiled, and she couldn’t help but wonder what was going on inside his mind.
In the past, she might have tried to probe into his thoughts, but now….

She pressed her lips together, sticking to her decision. “Thank you for coming to get me, but I don’t want to go.”
Franklin silently smiled again, his eyes holding a mysterious depth. “Understood.”
Without saying anything further, he turned and left the room.
By the time Franklin returned downstairs, the others were already eating.
They were all surprised to see that he had come back alone. They had expected that since he had personally gone up to invite Maggie, she would surely come down.
ry asked with a hint of curiosity, “She didn’t come down?”
“No.” Franklin replied shortly.
Then, he turned to the staff and said, “Please bring a portion of the barbecue, pancake, and the salad to the room for my wife.”
Julia’s lips tightened at the mention of “my wife.”
Maggie not coming downstairs and Franklin having food delivered to her room didn’t really signify anything.
But still…
She didn’t like how he called Maggie “my wife.”
It made it seem like he was acknowledging that she was his wife, even though, for all intents and purposes, they didn’t share any true emotional bond.
However, after a moment’s thought, she realized that the staff probably didn’t know Maggie’s name. If he hadn’t referred to her as “my wife,” who would know who the food was being delivered to?
Maggie was starting to feel hungry.
She heard the doorbell ring and opened it to find the staff standing there with her meal.
After the staff pushed the food cart into the room, they began placing the dishes on the table, explaining each dish as they uncovered the lids.

However, the moment Maggie saw the dishes, her expression changed. She frowned and said, “Did you bring the wrong order? I didn’t order these…”
The rich aroma of the pancake wafted through the air, and the salad was tempting. The food was incredibly mouthwatering, and Maggie couldn’t deny that it looked delicious.
But this wasn’t what she had ordered.
After the staff delivered the food, Maggie wasn’t planning to waste so much food, but she couldn’t refuse.
After all, these dishes were indeed very tempting, especially the expensive ingredients that she rarely ate. She initially intended to eat quickly and get back to her work, but she ended up eating much more than expected.
As a result, her meal took much longer than planned. Even though the meeting time was approaching, Maggie was still eating.
