"I can believe he tried to cook."

"I can't believe we didn't burn the house down at night."

We both laughed. I can't believe at how happy I was. I hadn't laughed this hard since my mom died.

"I haven't laughed this hard since she died." What did I just say that?

"I can say that I know what your feel cause I don't." I smiled at that everyone say they know how it feels to loss someone but most of the time that someone isn't their mom.

"Thank you." I said letting a tear escape from my eyes

"Hey don't cry." He said getting up from his spot and coming to look me in the eye

"I am sorry. I don't know what is wrong with me."

"Don't be" he said enveloping me in a hug.

I hug him back. Way does this have to feel so right?

"We better finish up in here." He said letting me go.

"Yeah we should." I said turning my back to him and started wrapping again.

MOVING DAY

I had spent the last two days packing up all the things I would need. My dad refuses to sell the house so I can leave some things here and when I need them they will just be a car drive away.

"Alright what else needs to go?"

"Um that box" I said pointing to a box on the ground

"Kay" said Mike one of the members of the pack. Tommy had sent some of the guys to help move thing to the pack house.

I looked around my bedroom and I couldn't help but feel like I was betraying my mom. She and my dad had built this house from the ground up. She didn't want to raise a child in the pack house not that it isn't a good place for children but it was just how my mom felt.

"Hey, Morg we are leaving you ready?" Ash yelled from the bottom of the stairs.

"Um yeah be right there." I yelled back

I picked up the last box and walked down stairs. I took my time looking in each room making sure we got everything.

Beep. Beep.

"Yo, hurry up!" Zach called from the car.

I took one last look and closed the door behind me.

"Finially," He sighed impatiently.

"Shut up," I said rolling my eyes at him.

I opened the door to the passenger's seat and it was full of stuff.

"Where am I supposed to sit?"

"I don't know." He replied shrugging his shoulders

Ugh! Why are boys so frustrating? Why I couldn't I just drive my car? Oh right I let Ash drive it with my dad to the house this morning.

"Hey, Morgan, you can ride with me," John said rolling his window down.

"Okay," I said without thinking and got in the passenger's seat.

He started up his Sierra Hybrid and backed out of the drive way. We got on the road and there was an awkward silence. It was broken when John's phone started ringing.

Ring. Ring. Ring

"Hello?"

"Told me what?"

"About Kalee and why I lie to her."

"Oh"

"I feel like I can trust you for some reason but I don't know why."

Oh no the bond he is starting to feel it. What do I do? What do I say?

"It is probably nothing." He said laughing

I just laughed with him. May be the feeling will go away. May be he will ignore it. No he won't Morgan! His wolf will soon realize that his mate is near and he will know.

"What is the real reason you are moving to the pack house?"

"What? I told you why already."

"No, the real reason. I saw it in your eyes that you were lying to me. I was honest with you now it is your turn to be honest with me. "

Oh. Crap.

"I was being honest with you."

"I am the soon to be Alpha, Morgan. I know when someone is lying to me," He said matter of factly.

"I wasn't lying to you." I stated

"Yes you were now tell, me," He said using a forceful tone.

"Why do you care?" I said back to him. I was scare at this point.

Apparently my reply took him by surprise.
