"I don't know, why?" he said truthfully, "But I want to know anyways."
Well, I guess I could tell him the truth.
"I wanted to be closer to my mate."
"Oh, I didn't know you had a mate."
"I haven't told him yet."
"Why not?"
"I think it is better that I not tell him."
He thought about my answer.
"Well, I think you should tell him."
Great even my mate agrees that I should tell him.
"I have been getting that a lot lately."
"Well you should. I mean if you were my mate I would want you to tell me."
I was completely taken back by that.
"Really? Even if you have Kalee." I asked in a hopeful voice.
"Of course, I would want to know who my soul mate is. Kalee is my girlfriend ,yes, but I can't be with her forever."
He sounds just like his father. I didn't reply instead I got lost in my thoughts. So he does want me to tell him. Would he be mad at me that I waited so long to tell him? Would he still want me? I am so confused.
"We're here," He said taking the keys out of the ignition.
I got out and started to unpack the car.
"Morgan?"
"Yeah"
"Who is your mate?"
This was the one question I had been dreading the most. Well he said be honest.
"When I tell him you'll know." I said walking into my new home.
The pack house is huge. There is a movie theater, a tennis court, basketball court, pool, and a gym. Plus the fully stocked game room with guitar hero, wii, psp, x-box, air hockey, pinball, a pool table, and every board game you can a imagine.
My suite was across the hall from Ashes suite. Yes, I said suite. I have a queen size bed, and full bath with a jet tube, a walk in closet, a flat screen TV with a sitting area around it, and a mini fridge. The best part about my room thought was that it was my favorite color, purple.
Yeah, life isn't that bad in the pack house. I have been about a month that I moved in. My dad is doing a lot better since we moved, his cancer has subsided and his doctor thinks that he doesn't need his treatments as often. He is also more social then he was a few months ago.
Now I am helping Jackie get ready for Thanksgiving dinner. The whole entire pack won't be joining us for dinner. So members like to spend some holidays with their mates or just with their families.
"Hey!" Jackie said slapping Tommy's hand away from the food.
"No eating until later." She said in a stern voice.
"Sorry, hun. It just smells so good." He said snaking his arms around her waist.
Aww, they are so cute!
"Mhm, nice try." She said turning around to face him. "You still aren't getting any."
I giggled, "Alpha when the appetizers are done I will bring them out to you guys." I said to him.
"Good, we are hungry." John said walking into the kitchen with some of his friends.
I grabbed the mitt off the counter and opened the oven. The artichoke dip looks so good.
"Morgan can you put that on a plate and bring it to the carnivores in the living room." Ruby
I laughed, "Sure"
"I will bring the mozzarella sticks and the wings out." Ash said grabbing the two trays.
I put the dip on a tray with so chips and brought it to the boys.
"Finally" Zach said before stuffing his face with food.
Everyone laughed.
"What do you think dad?" I asked
"Very good it tastes just like your mother's dip." He said grabbing another clip
"Good I hoped you'd like it." I said smiling at him. He smiled back.
"So Ruben how do you like living with the pack?" John asked
"It has been a big change is all I can say."
"A good one I hope."
"In a way, I miss our house but it has been nice to be closer to everyone again." He said with a half smile on his face.
"What about you Morgan?" Tommy asked turning to me.
"I like it," I said not wanting to go into detail.
