"I would love to," I said and she smiled like a little kid at Christmas.
"That would be great," Tommy said, "and John I could use your help with some things as well." He said looking at John.
John nodded and released me. Jackie came up to me putting her arm around my shoulders leading me to the door. We walk all the way to the other side of the house the nursery.
"Awwww" I said looking at all the babies in their cribs.
Jackie chuckled, "I know," she said picking up a little girl that couldn't be more than a few days old.
"This is Rebecca. She was born five days ago. Do you want to hold her?" She asked.
"I don't think I should; she looks so fragile," I said.
Jackie shook her head, "They can smell fear. Just don't think of dropping her. I don't think her mother will be too happy about that," she told me handing her to me.
Rebecca stretched her little arms and clenched her tiny fist. She is so precious. I smiled at her but she still remained asleep. I looked up and saw Jackie smiling at me.
"Your father comes in here almost every day to see the children," She told me.
"Really?" I asked confused
Jackie laughed at my expression.
"Yes, he gets along with them every well. Actually they seem to like him," she said taking Rebecca and placing her back in the crib.
She tucked her in her crib making sure she was nice and warm before continuing on.
"Follow me." she said and I followed her down the hallway.
Jackie brought me into a little office room and closed the door. I looked at her confused and she gave me a serious look.
"I couldn't say anything in front of Tommy but I think I know how we can find 'Sarah'," She said.
"You do?" I asked almost excited, "Why can't you tell Tommy?"
"Oh my God, I am so sorry." She said
I turned to see Grace (A/N if you don't remember Morgan sat next to her at the bonfire) who was picking up the sheets of names Jackie had printed out for me. Luckily, they fell with the names facing down so she couldn't see.
"Oh no I should have been watching where I was going,"I said helping her pick up the papers.
"No, I should have," She continued to apologize.
"Really Grace it is no problem," I told her.
I looked at Grace. She looked smaller than she did before. Her dirty blonde hair draped over her shoulders and looked as if she had been combing through it with her fingers nervously. Her hazel eyes look sleepless and scared. Why was she scared?
"I am sorry Morgan but I have to go. I will see you soon," She said walking away.
When she passed me I could have sworn I saw a mating mark, but I never heard she found her mate. I continued back to my room to hide the papers from John before he gets back. When I got to the room luckily John hadn't come back yet and I looked for a hiding place. I couldn't think of a place that John would look, but my father always told me that the hardest things to find are the things that are right in front of us. I decided to hide it behind the books on the bookshelf since John told me that they were only for show.........hopefully.
