Grace's P.O.V
I could see him fighting with himself and it was hurting him. I pulled out of Morgan's grasp and ran to him. I put my hands on either side of his face and whispered soothing words to him.
"Charlie it is okay. It's me, Grace," I told him looking him in the eyes.
I could see the red seep into his eyes letting me know that my Charlie was gone and his wolf had replaced his body. He looked at me and wrapped his arm tightly around my waist.
"Charlie," I said pushing against his chest as me spun me around so that my back was pushed up against the tree.
A growl formed in his chest, "You are my toy and you will do what I want," he growled.
A tear escaped my eyes as Charlie began to kiss and touch me. Was that what he thought of me as, a toy? I wasn't his mate. I was his toy.
"Please stop," I said as his hand began to caress the inside of my thigh.
"Let go of her!" Morgan shouted as she tried to pry him off me.
Charlie growled and let go of me. I drooped to the ground and watch as Charlie held her by the throat against a tree. I could see her shaking in fear and squirming to get free from his grip.
"Hey Beautiful," He said smiling at her.
I could feel my heartache when he called her beautiful.
"I-I can't breathe," she said struggling to get out.
He laughed, "I warned you that you would be with her soon," he told her.
A single tear slid down her cheek. Charlie killed her mother and was now going to kill her in the same place her did. I could let that happen. I wasn't going to take Ruben's daughter away too. I lifted myself off the ground and jumped onto Charlie's back.
He turned toward her direction when all of a sudden I could feel Charlie's weight come off of me. Morgan ran to my side and was whispering soothing things to me.
"Grace it is alright," she sounded distant as she watched Charlie battle another wolf.
"Who is that?" I asked hating not knowing what was going on.
Morgan peeled her eyes away from the scene and picked me up off the ground like I weighed nothing. I could see more big blurs enter the clearing and Morgan looked at the wolf fighting Charlie with worried eyes. I figured that the wolf was John by the way she was looking at him. Another wolf poked Morgan on her shoulder and she nodded. She turned and reluctantly exited the clearing. I heard a howl and I looked up at Morgan's face to see who it was but her face was emotionless. She didn't want to know who it was but it was either her mate or mine, and deep down I hoped that it wasn't mine.
Morgan's P.O.V
I didn't turn around knowing that if I did it would hurt to see him in pain. I knew it was John who howled, but Tommy and him both instructed me to bring Grace to the pack house. Grace was somewhat conscious in my arms and had a gush on the back of her head. I walked into the pack house that was under lock down due to the Rouge attack. Luckily, Jackie had left the front door open for Grace and I to get in. Miss. May took Grace from me to take care of her. I turned around to go back outside but Ash grabbed my hand stopping me.
"Morgan you can't go we are under lock down," She told me pulling me back toward the stairwell.
