"So you believe that what he did can be justified?"

"No, that isn't what I said."

"Miss. Davidson was that what you were implying?"

I stood up and yelled at them to stop switching her words around.

"She is his mate; of course he is going to tell us to stop. Sit down and be quite. We are trying to know all the facts," one of the council members told me.

Before I could respond Arthur held up his hand to silence us and motioned me to sit down.

"I have heard enough of this bickering. I would like to take a twenty minute break and then come back."

Everyone began to gather their things before Arthur could finish.

"When we come back I would only like to talk to Morgan and Charlie, and their mates as well," he finished and the council exploded with objections and disagreements.

Morgan walked up to me and tucked herself in my arms. I kissed the top of her head and breathed in her scent.

"You did good baby," I told her and I could feel her smile.

"He is right you did a good job," Ruben said behind me.

Morgan let go of me and ran into her father's arms. I walked out to go get a bottle of water when I saw the guard eyeing Charlie. I felt bad for the guy in some ways I mean Grace didn't even show up to the trail and everyone hates the guy. The good in me made me go over and talk to him.

"Hey, Dug I want to talk to him," I said looking at Charlie, "give us a minute."

Dug nodded and left us to ourselves.

"What do you want?" He asked.

"Nothing."

"Then what did you want to talk to me about?"

"I just want to ask how you were."

"Why?"

"Tell you the truth I don't know why and with the attitude you are giving me isn't helping."

"Well, I am sorry princess you're not the one on trail. I will remember next time to have sugar plum fairies dancing around when you talk to me again."

"Listen I just came to see how you were. I don't like the situation anymore than you do."

He chuckled, "Really? Are you the one whose life is being decided by a bunch of elders?

When I didn't answer he continued.

"That is what I thought."

"I don't know why I felt sorry for you when all you are acting like is a d*ck. It is no wonder why Grace didn't show up."

He got pissed when I mentioned Grace and shot up out of his seat.

Arthur smiled, "Now first off I would like to congratulate you all on finding your mates. Second of all I want no one to repeat what happens in this room after they leave. Do you all understand?"

We all nodded.

"Wonderful," He said with a smile, "We have heard Morgan's side of things and I don't want to hear anymore sides. I do things differently when it comes to only me deciding."

He looked at all of us and landed on Grace.

"Well, Sarah you have grown so much since the last time I saw you," he said.

Grace finally looked up and smiled at him, "Thank you."

"Now I understand you go by the name Grace. Is that correct?"

"Yes."

Arthur nodded, "Charlie what do you think your punishment should be?"

Charlie looked like a dear in headlights.

Arthur chuckled, "You must have thought about it. What do you think your punishment should be?"

Charlie looked down and didn't answer.

Arthur nodded in satisfaction, "Ahhhhh well I can have that arranged if that is what you wish, but I would like you to talk it over with your mate before I put anything in motion."
