"He made me happy too which is why I started to see other people," She said and then directed the next part to John, "I was going to break it off the next time we met but you came over and I am sorry it ended the way it did."

"Me too"

Kalee smiled at both of us and walked over to Charlie and Grace. Once she was in deep conversation with them John spun me around so that we were face to face.

"If I had known she was doing this I wouldn't have-"

I put my fingers over his mouth to stop him.

"You loved her and you were together for a year. I saw it and you can't ignore or protect me from that," I told him.

He put his hand on my cheek and caressed it. I smiled and kissed the palm of his hand.

"We are ready," Kalee said getting everyone's attention.

We gathered around the center of the room. Grace spotted me and stood next to me. Her eyes were bloodshot times ten which made her skin look even paler than it usually is. Under her eyes she had blue bags from lack of sleep and her long blond hair looked lifeless. In the center of the room there was a circle made on candles that surrounded Charlie and Kalee.

Grace's P.O.V

Kalee had prepared us for what would happen. Well, it was more like prepared Charlie and consoled me. I was a nervous wreck who hasn't slept in what felt like a year. Without a matches or a lighter Kalee lit the circle of candles surrounding Charlie and her. Charlie looked at giving me a little smile for reassurance before kneeling down which was the cue for Kalee to start. She nodded and began to chant something that I couldn't understand. The lights went out but my gaze was stuck on my mate who looked as if he was having trouble breathing.

Suddenly Charlie fell to the side and images of us flashed around the room. The first one was of us the night he marked me. I blushed having everyone see us together but pertended that I didn't care. Most of the other images were of me smiling, laughing, crying. Some were just looking at me from Charlie's point of view that I wasn't even a where that he was watching me. The next it changed to moments of him and Sally. He had told me about how close they were, but in the end he would stop before he could tell me about losing her. The room changed into a darker place the images were medieval like and dark. The circle or candles blew up and fire spat around the room.

Charlie began to cry as Kalee's chant became louder. A young Morgan with tears in her eyes flashed then her mother, Arianna, with blood stained fur, and Morgan's cries from that day echoed through the room. His shouts from arguing with my parents about being with me shot from wall to wall. I looked at my mate to see him looking at me with pain in his eyes. He whimpered when the image of me crying because he lost control appeared.

"Stop it, please?" I whispered.

"Charlie, you have to fight it. You have to tell him to leave. Show him who you are."

"I can't," he said shaking his head.

"Do this for Grace. Charlie do this for her," Kalee told him.

He looked at me with sad eyes but then they changed in to what looked like determination. That was all I could remember before blacking out.

John's P.O.V.

Grace was unconscious for the rest of the limiting because Kalee protested any help offered to her. I still can't believe Kalee, my freaking ex-girlfriend is a witch! I mean we dated for a whole year. How the hell did I miss something like that? I mean a witch. You know the ones how make magic. I can't even wrap my head around it. Oh, and to add to that Morgan is in the room. Why did my ex have to show up especially tonight?
