I nodded, "It seems you haven't done a good job then."
Her red eyes turned black and her smile turn to a smirk as both Ash and my mother began to trample to the ground choking for air.
Anthony caught Ash in his arms and my mother fell with my father.
"Enough!" I demanded.
Her eyes changed back to the normal red, "Do not anger me. I have no problem killing. I have before."
"Why Charlie I mean you couldn't do better?" I provoked.
Her eyes turned black again but faded back.
"You don't want me to change my strategy, trust me."
"He would never take the chance," my father piped in.
"Dad," I said giving him a warning look.
"Well, well, well, look who decided to join this little party. I didn't know a pack was this closely linked or at least I didn't remember it being that way," She hissed.
Kalee beside me was soaking this all in as I was. I could see the gears turning in her head processing and think of her next move. Sierra watched her waiting for Kalee's next move. I wondered why? I could see that her eyes moved from Charlie to Grace then Ash to Anthony, and then to my father and to my mother. Charlie was right this girl didn't make any sense.
Morgan was lying on the ground as if she was being pressed down by rocks. I had a feeling that Morgan was going to be used as her last resort. I hope deep down that Sierra will never have to use her or change her set strategy. Her strategy that she seemed so stricter and stern on using against me. The question was is how I am supposed to change it so that I could understand it to use it against her. The other question floating one was how is this crazy lunatic connected to all of this and how is this connected to this crazy lunatic.
18 Months Later
I nudged her, "Be nice"
"If I wanted someone to boss me around I would have asked Jonathan to take the picture," She said with a smile.
I smiled back and out of nowhere she gave me a huge hug. I hugged her back as I heard the photographer complain about our constant moving and talking.
"You are my best friend! I am going to miss you so much," She said as she started to tear up.
"You are only going to be gone for three weeks. I don't think you will think of me that much. If you do that is a little weird," I replied.
She squeezed me tighter, "You know that isn't what I was talking about."
I knew but I didn't want to start crying too. Since Anthony had done the training camp he was called to teach other packs across the country. Ash was not exactly thrilled about leaving but Anthony would be spending long periods of time away from home so the only solution was for her to travel with him. Of course when I found out there were tears lots of tears and I couldn't look at Anthony in the eye without seeing red. I still cry some nights when I think of all the good times we have had. It may seem silly but we have never spent more than a week or two apart.
