Noelle heard James' words, and a hint of confusion flashed in her eyes. Was Frank seriously ill?

Frank straightened up and pushed James aside. "I'm fine. It's just my old ailment."

"But Mr. Liddell, you—"

"James, you're talking too much."

He stopped James from saying anything more and turned to Noelle. "I'm not here to plead on Lucas and Xenia's behalf. They made a mistake, and they should face the consequences."

Was he not here to plead?

Frank took a file from James. "The AI project has a lot of potential. I know you're a key member at Maple Enterprise, but why not strike out on your own?"

"What do you mean?"

"This is my company. I'm offering you full ownership. You can independently develop the AI project, and when it goes public, all the profits will be yours."

Noelle looked at the share transfer agreement. She didn't expect him to give his company to her.

After the surveillance video incident, Frank saw Xenia's true colors and regretted it. Was he trying to make amends?

Noelle glanced at the paper but didn't take it. She spoke coldly. "I don't need it. You can keep it."

"No, this is my offer to you. In the past, I failed to see how much you've suffered, how you were deceived by Xenia, misunderstood, punished, and how an outsider was favored over you."

He shoved the file into her hands. "I've already signed it."

Noelle tossed the document aside. "But I don't want it!"
