Donovan was backed up against the wall with no way out. He nervously pushed Noelle's hand away. "Stop with your sarcastic remarks. I did not know about the plagiarism incident."

"Mr. Donovan, are you trying to shirk responsibility?"

"I'm not trying to shirk responsibility!" His eyes were bloodshot, and his emotions were intense, as if the topic had struck a raw nerve.

Xenia stepped forward and supported Donovan. "Donovan still hasn't fully recovered from the broken ribs you caused when you threw him over your shoulder. Don't go too far."

Wow! Now she was playing the good guy!

Noelle coldly responded. "You go to jail then. That way, everything will be resolved."

Xenia nearly choked on her words. How could she go to jail? She just wanted to show off in front of Donovan.

The next moment, Xenia looked at Lucas. "Lucas, you don't have to force yourself. I know it's all my fault. I'll go to jail, and it has nothing to do with you."

Donovan spoke immediately. "No, you can't go."
