Watching Donovan rage made Noelle feel a little satisfied.

Upon hearing what she said, he yelled, "Noelle, how dare you ask me to beg for it?"

"Why not?"

"I'm your brother."

Donovan's eyes were bloodshot. His chest heaved, staring at Noelle, both stunned and disappointed at once. She asked him to beg her!

Frank walked over and pulled Donovan aside. "Calm down, Donovan!"

"I can't. Did you think it was easy for me to build the Liddell Corporation from the ground up?"

He turned to Frank, pointed at him and scolded, "These years, I've been working my ass off and suffering to make enough money to provide for you all. Is this how you guys are repaying me for that?"

Frank paused before saying, "Donovan, can't you be nicer when asking Noelle to do things for you? Don't make it seem like you guys are enemies."

"I should be nicer? Haven't you seen what she did?"

Donovan was livid. He turned to Noelle and exclaimed, "I put in blood, sweat, and tears to build this company. You lived off its profits to fund such a luxurious life!"

Noelle chuckled and said, "What a braggart. You should take it up as a profession. You'll make a fortune off it."

Frank tried to ease the tension between them. "Noelle, why don't you tone it down too?"

"Why would I do that?"

Noelle wouldn't back down. "You brought a bunch of people into the company and accused me of hacking into the Liddell Corporation's system. Now that I've proved it to you, you're trying to frame it on me?"

Frank replied nicely, "It's your fault we didn't believe you. Will you accept my apology?"

"What good will an apology do? You're good at apologizing. Does that make you a big deal?"
