Cedric frowned as he approached Noelle. Watching Cedric kick the door in and barge in, Noelle was stunned. She noticed his horrible mood and tugged at his hand. "I'm fine."

He could not make a move against them. They would exploit it as blackmail material. Donovan was definitely capable to do something like this. However, Noelle could not let Cedric fall into such a disadvantage.

Cedric studied Noelle's calm expression. She didn't seem to be angry. Thus, his expression relaxed.

He looked up at Donovan. Had he been too soft toward the Liddells, allowing them to trample all over Noelle?

Donovan studied Cedric's features. Complicated emotions swirled within her eyes. He looked like that guy from the Greene family!

He asked outright, "Who are you?"

"His identity shouldn't be your current focus."

Alfred walked in, a proud sneer on his face. He no longer looked as approachable as he usually did.

Donovan's expression changed when he saw Alfred. "Mr. Parham."

Although he didn't have many interactions with the wealthiest families in the country, he had gone to a few events and seen Alfred twice.

Frank stood beside Donovan. He was surprised. "Donovan, is he the one from the Parham family you were talking about?"

Back then, he hadn't known about Alfred's background. It explained why finding Noelle after she moved out had been so difficult. Frank had thought it was Cedric who was from a powerful family. He hadn't expected it to be someone else? Was Alfred the one with Noelle instead of Cedric?

Donovan noticed Frank's expression and asked, "Do you know him?"
