I look at Derek who is crying rocking back and forth. I smile to myself as I feel a weight that I have been carrying since I was 15 lifted. I finally feel free. Free of Derek. I turn around and start to leave letting Derek rot in hell. Before I leave I turn back to Derek who is still rocking back and forth.
"You are never getting out of here Derek. Get used to these walls because this is where you are going to die. Your death is going to be slow and painful. You will age as you die. This is the last time you will ever see another human begin. The next time you see a person is when they will be removing you old and frail dead body. Have a nice life Derek because deserve this." I leave locking the door behind me. I let out a huge breath and smile to myself.
I see Jackson standing there looking worried. I start laughing as I walk up to him feeling lighter then I have in years. I don't stay long and I leave before Conner starts to send out a search party for me.
I arrive back at the pack in the afternoon and I can hear the laughter of children in the pack. I get out the car and walk outside to where Grace is running around with Liam.
"Run Liam run." Grace yells on Liam's back. They run up to me where Liam is huffing and puffing.
"You are getting fat Grace." I laugh as Grace smacks him.
"I am not fat." She stomps her foot as Liam messes up her hair. I look at Liam who is turning into a handsome man even at the age of 8 and who is smitten by Grace who is now 5.
"You are fat, you are turning into a fatty." I laugh with Liam as Grace looks up at me.
"I am not fat am I mummy." I get down to her level shaking my head.
"You are not fat baby girl, you are beautiful." She smiles giving me hug.
"Why don't you pick me up anymore mummy?" I stand up and look at Liam who I can feel judging me the same way his father does.
"That's because you are a big girl."
"Daddy still picks me up." I sigh and shake my head.
"She can't because she is fat." Liam says and I don't know whether to laugh or cry somewhat.
"Stop calling everyone fat Liam, just because you are fat don't go calling everyone else fat." Grace says poking his chest. These two are just amusing to watch.
