Conner rest his head on my shoulder wrapping his arms around my shoulders. I look at his reflection as he look out into the backyard with a longing look. I smile as I reach up grabbing Conner's hands. I move them until they are resting on the slight bump on my stomach. I smile as I watch his eyebrows frown in the window reflection.

I rest my hands over his rubbing circles with my thumbs. I feel him lift his head off my shoulder as he looks at my face in the window reflection. He turns me around so I am facing him. His hands are still on my stomach as I watch him open and close his mouth. He shakes his head in disbelief as I keep smiling.

"Are you?" He ask looking down at me. I nod my head and I watch as tears form in his eyes. I brush away the few that have fallen down his face as he burst into a bright and happy smile.

"I am going to be a daddy." My smile grows even bigger as he falls to his knees in front of me. He lifts up my shirt as he rubs my small stomach. He leans forward and kiss my stomach as he starts talking to it making me laugh.

"This is your daddy baby and I love you very much." He kisses my stomach again and looks up at me with tears flowing down his face. I grab his face pulling him up into a kiss. I pull away as tears are falling down onto my own face.

"How long have you known?" I bite my lip still smiling hoping he doesn't get mad at me.

"About a month and a half. Please don't be mad at me. I didn't want to tell you and get your hopes up and lose the baby. I know how much you want another child and I could do that to you. I am about 13 weeks and have just passed my first trimester. The risk of a miscarriage have lowered but there I still that risk because of what happened four years ago. I am sorry id dint tell you, but I didn't-" I never got to finish because Conner silences me with a heart melting kiss.

Conner finally pulls away and rest his forehead against mine.

"I am not mad Clare. I wished that you told me so that I could be there for you." I squeak as he lifts me up carrying me bridal style to the bed. He carefully lowers me taking off my shirt.

"What are you doing?" I laugh as Conner sits on my legs.

"You have to rest, have you eaten today? I need to get you some food. Have you had something to drink today? I should get you some tea, wait is tea good for the baby?" I cannot help, but laugh at Conner. I grab Conner face pulling him down to me giving him a kiss.

"I am crushing the baby." He mummer into my lips causing another laugh out of me.

"You are too funny Conner." Conner sits on my legs again with a serious look on his face.

"I am being serious Clare." I go to sit up with him, but he gently pushes me back down.

"Conner everything is fine. I saw the doctor a week ago and everything is fine with the baby. He or she has a very strong heartbeat and is as healthy as a growing baby can be. I just need to be more careful and not do too much lifting or anything that could put a strain on the baby." I grab Conner hands placing them back on my stomach. I jump a little when Conner jumps off me pulling me off the bed. He starts to run out the room causing me to laugh again.

"Where are we going?" He reaches the door and turns back to me.

"The doctors. I want to make sure everything is fine." He starts to pull me causing me to laugh at my silly man.

"I need a shirt." Conner looks me up and down before running back into my room and putting my shirt on for me. He grabs my hand again and starts running with me laughing behind him. We pass Felix, Ivy, and the twins and there mates who look at us like we are mad.

"Conner why are you running through the house?" Felix ask as we pass them. I am still laughing my head off when Conner realises that I have been running. I shriek as he picks me up carrying me bridal style again.

"You shouldn't be running. It isn't good for the baby." The moment Conner says baby the girls scream and Conner glares at them.

"Stop screaming it isn't good for the baby." He growls causing me and all the men to laugh.

"Got to love the first time parents." I hear Max laugh as Conner starts running towards the doctors again. We enter the doctors and I see my doctor smiling at me.

"You finally told him." She ask as she leads us to a room.

"Yes and I want to make sure that everything is fine with the baby and Clare." The doctor nods and goes to get the equipment I have gotten used to. I am laying down as Conner fidgets next to me.

"Everything is fine Conner I promise." I grab his hand as the doctor comes back into the room.

"This will be cold Clare." The doctor squeezes gel onto my stomach and starts moving the wand around. I smile as the doctor find the baby that is growing in my stomach. I feel Conner's hand tighten in mine and I look up at him to see his eyes glued to the screen.

"Would you like to hear the heartbeat?" Conner nods his head like a child on a sugar high causing me to laugh. The doctor fiddles around with the buttons and soon we can hear the swishing sound of our baby's heartbeat. I can see Conner crying as he smiles at our baby.
