Benjamin tried to plead his case, "Come on, Nathan, your demands are way too steep. You're asking for everything we've got left. Isn't that basically making us penniless beggars?"

Nathan chuckled, unfazed, "Oh, please. You tried to back me into a corner, and all I'm after is your measly assets. You still think that's unfair? Well, I've got nothing more to say. Gentlemen, get lost."

With that, Nathan turned on his heel, roses in hand, and headed inside.

Benjamin, feeling the sting of a wasted effort, stomped in frustration, "What a sly fox."

Cameron watched Nathan closely, his gaze deep. He saw Nathan walk towards the door just as Nathalie stepped out.

Nathan handed over the roses with a casual smile, "Hey, these are for you."

Nathalie's face lit up, and she took a long sniff of the roses, grinning like a kid on Christmas morning. "They're beautiful and smell amazing. Thanks, Nathan."

Nathan teased, "So, are the flowers prettier than me? Smell better than me?"

Nathalie laughed, giving his nose a playful tweak, "Not a chance. You're the most handsome and definitely the best smelling. My Nathan is the best."

A little way off, Benjamin watched the scene with a twinge of jealousy. "Seriously? What kind of guy is this? So childish. Nathalie really needs better taste in men."

Cameron sighed, a bit more level-headed. He figured that a guy like Nathan, both dashing and loaded, who could love Nathalie so deeply, was something neither of them could compete with.

Benjamin's bitterness was just sour grapes, plain and simple.

Instead, he married Greta, who was all about appearances and deception, making a mess of his life.

Nathan, it seemed, had the better judgment.

Cameron stumbled away from Nathalie's house, feeling defeated.

Slumping into the car, he found Benjamin already in the passenger seat, grumbling, "We've gone up against Nathan twice and both times got our butts kicked. Are we seriously going to keep this up?"

Cameron, drained, replied, "If we don't want to end up as his next meal, we don't have much choice."

At the entrance of the McCoy family villa, Ashley stepped out of a luxury car. She looked absolutely stunning, her high heels clicking as she gracefully carried an elegant box.
