Reborn, I Sent My Ex-Husband and His True Love to Prison novel Chapter 2

Read Reborn, I Sent My Ex-Husband and His True Love to Prison Chapter 2 - the best manga of 2020

Of the Quirinus Amalia stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is Reborn, I Sent My Ex-Husband and His True Love to Prison. The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to Chapter 2. Let's read the author's Reborn, I Sent My Ex-Husband and His True Love to Prison Quirinus Amalia story right here.

This time, I didn't bother putting effort into cooking.

A kid like him wasn't worth it. I just reheated some leftovers from the fridge.

"This tastes gross! My mom's cooking is way better!"

Jack banged his fork against the plate, his face scrunched up in disgust.

In the past, I'd have made something new to please him. But not this time.

I stood up and dumped the food straight into the trash.

Jack froze, then exploded.

"What the heck? I wasn't done eating!"

I grabbed the last bowl of rice off the table.

"If you don't like it, don't eat it. I'm not forcing you."

His face turned red with anger.

Just then, the door opened, and Ethan walked in.

Jack shot me a glare, then suddenly collapsed to the floor.

Ethan rushed over, panic in his voice.

"Jack! What's wrong?!"

The kid clutched his stomach, writhing in fake agony.

"My stomach hurts! It really hurts!"

Ethan immediately took him to the hospital.

An hour later, Lily showed up at the hospital.

She looked stunning, dressed in a chic designer dress, her face full of worry as she hovered over Jack's hospital bed.

"What's wrong with my baby? He's never had stomach issues before!"

The young doctor in a white coat walked in, holding a report.

His expression was serious.

"It looks like he's taken too much laxative. Did anyone give him any?"

Ethan frowned.

"Why would we give him laxatives for no reason?"

"Did he accidentally eat something?"

Lily chimed in immediately:

"Yeah, could Jack have eaten something by mistake?"

The boy on the hospital bed whispered weakly:

"I ate Aunt Emily's food this afternoon, and then my stomach started hurting..."

Slap!

A sharp sting burned across my face.

Ethan's hand was still raised, his face dark with anger.

"Emily, what the hell is wrong with you?!"

"You promised me you'd treat Jack like your own! Is this how you take care of him?"

"By poisoning him?!"

He raised his hand again, ready to strike, but this time I caught his wrist mid-air and slapped him back—hard.
