How can he do this to me? I know that he doesn't realize I am his mate, but he will by the time morning comes. It scares me to think of what he could do when he finds out that we are fated together.

I run inside my small den, which lays on the outskirts of the pack territory. Everyone else lives in fancy houses, even the other omegas but me? Nope, I live in a cave away from everyone else though it's not a very bad cave, it is not very big which means no one can try and sneak up on me.

I strip out of my torn clothing and clean up the blood from where he decided to rape me; this is not the first time this has happened either, but this time it is so close to his birthday, and my wolf had already informed his that I am his mate, but I was still raped.

"mates wolf wanted him too" I hear my wolf cry in my head making me block her out and focus on the task at hand.

I wouldn't say that I am bad looking either. I have black hair that falls to my mid-back, and I have green eyes that are the same colour as the forest that we live in.

I was not meant to be an omega, my mother is the pack doctor, but sadly she cheated on her mate with my father, a pack Warrior named Ben, and I was punished for it.

I throw on a new pair of clothing and pack a backpack for just in case he rejects me, if he doesn't I will immediately be allowed out of this hell and back into the pack life since my dear mate Matthew is the Betas son with that as my last thought I head to sleep to be well-rested for the day ahead.

I stretch my limbs out and head towards the packhouse, today is my mates birthday, and I am as ready as I will ever be to face the day.

The minute I see the den, I push my wolf harder, scooping the bag into our hand and rushing across the nearby border.

"Human I can't hold on much longer" my wolf cries in pain, I notice a small bush. I throw the bag in the direction of the bush, making the bag land perfectly. I shift into my wolf curing in a ball.

"It was nice knowing you wofie. I wish I knew your name. I am sorry we are such a failure" I cry into my head

"The name is summer, and it is not your fault human" I laugh at the wolf grin she gives me before the world turns black and the last thing entering my ears is our final goodbye.
