Once I am sure that the bear pack is gone, I launch at the boys, ready to strike, but before I can even get a chance to strike, I am pulled back by hazyn.

“don’t, it’s not worth it”, Hazyn whispers in my ear

“They deserve it”, I growl

“Yes, they do, but that’s not up to us to decide what The punishment is meant to be”, Hazyn Responds. I roll my eyes bit agree anyway I know he’s right. Just after everything he’s put me through and put this pack, though, I want to be the one to do the punishment even though it’s not up for me. I just wish the moon goddess was here to punish him appropriately so that I don’t have to sit around and try to get her to because I have a feeling she won’t want to listen to us about what he needs to happen to him; hell I’m surprised she hasn’t punished him already.

I hear a voice in my head and start to listen closely, realising that because I’m so distracted by my own thoughts, I can’t pick up on the signal very well.

“ I have been watching. I’ve been thinking of the right punishment, but I’ve also been waiting for the right time. Now is the right time. I will be delivering my punishment soon; if you want to stick around and watch, you can, but if you're going to be gone, you probably want to leave by tonight; Erika, I understand that this pack and Matthew when all his friends haven’t been the nicest to you and while I would love to deliver a punishment to the whole pack I can’t while it’s in my powers it’s not in the best interest of their futures well those boys might not have a very good future ahead of them the people in this pack who do and the only way I could punish everyone is to disband the pack, and that would ruin some of these people‘s futures you have to understand that I’m in a tough situation here. They’ve done a lot of bad things not only to you but to other people, but their innocent people within this pack who need this pack to grow into the people they need to be everyone will get the punishment they deserve in good time, but for now, you are right Matthew and his friends need to be punished and now is the time for me to do it” I realise that it was the moon goddess talking to me I look around in shock I knew she could hear what we were thinking and saying and everything else but her to talk to me personally outside of us requesting for Hayes. My mateship is insane, and I feel truly honoured to have heard from her.

I snap out of my thoughts and quickly head inside the packhouse ignoring everyone else.

“What are you doing” Hazyn questions catching up to me outside our room.

“Packing to leave”, I snap before grabbing all of the things we had laid out for our stay. We were originally meant to stay for a few days to a week, but I don't want to stick around for the punishment to be blamed on me.

“why?” I stare at hazyn in shock that he can't guess why I would want to leave early.

“The moon goddess reached out to me. She will be punishing Matthew, and I don't want to be blamed for it”, I state

“Didn't she already punish him?” hazyn questions.

“Yes, but I don't know what she did other than the fact the woman he is with is a total bitch and is probably only using him, but she is going to punish all the Boys for what they did to that pack”, I state

“We can’t just leave Erika; not only is it disrespectful, but iI don’t know what is up with you, but whenever we leave here, you are the strongest woman I know, but the minute we enter this pack, you become weak, and I feel like you sticking around to see these punishments take place will bring you a lot of closure” Hazyn respond making me glare at him before my blood feels like it starts to boil

“I'm not weak”, I growl at Hazyn before pulling my fist back and hitting him in the nose before immediately recalling and grabbing my nose

“Bloody mate bond”, I hiss, making Hazyn laugh
