Rejected Mate novel Chapter 20

"I think we need to cancel tomorrows date," I tell hazyn moving from the bathroom, I heard him enter the room not long ago probably having been alerted to the fact that I gave myself good poisoning, I thought I was a good cook but obviously not if I am throwing up after eating my own meal; I will be leaving the cooking to everyone else from now on.

"why?" he rushes out in a panic.

"dude, I am vomiting, that's no way to have a first date" I growl making him nod his head in understanding with a look of relief come over his face; didn't know that my vomiting was a good thing but in saying that it could be because he didn't know I was sick and thought I was rejecting his advances which I would never do, not in my right mind anyway.

"okay leave the room please, and I will call everything off for now" he smiles sadly making me nod and head back into the bathroom as a wave of nausea takes over my body alerting me to the fact I am about to vomit again.

"come out when your ready" hazyn calls making me clean my teeth once again and head back inside the bedroom to find our beds are pulled together in front of the tv, a bucket next to my side of the bed, a glass of water and Netflix on TV.

"We moved the date up to today, I hadn't actually planned our date yet but a movie night will do, water to wash your mouth out with, a bucket to vomit into and a huge bed to cuddle in" he smiles making me look at him like he is crazy.

"now get into the god damn bed, and pick something to watch" he laughs, making me nod and does as I am told.

"you really are something else" I smile before putting on easy A, I know its a chick flick, but it will actually test him to see how much he actually likes me.

"good movie choice" he smiles before wrapping his arm around my neck so that we still have distance between us but so that we somewhat intermit. I feel a wave of nausea hit and immediately try and get up I really don't want to throw up in front of him this early on.

"bucket" Hazyn comments making me grab it before I can apologize I start throwing up, what a great date I think to myself before Hazyns hands find my back, I feel him rubbing my back which actually surprises me a lot, it is such an intermit thing, and I never thought he would be the type to be this caring.

I put the bucket down when I've finished and quickly put some water in my mouth before spitting it out into the bucket.

"sorry" I comment laying back making him laugh.

"Nothing to be sorry about, I wouldn't have gotten a bucket and told you to use it if I wasn't okay with it, just remind me never to eat anything you make" he laughs out making me hit his arm.

"This is the first time I have given myself or anyone for that fact food poisoning" I comment making him smile.

"I was teasing, Ashley told me you cooked up chicken, and I know for a fact that chicken has been sitting in our fridge for months and no one has thrown it out so not your fault" he smiles, I lean my head on his shoulder.

"Just great, someone could have told me" I mumble before dozing off.

"You guys look so good together" I hear someone state, I don't open my eyes even though I'm awake because I want to hear what's going on.

"yeah, I hope yesterday was good enough for her, wasn't much of a date with her sick but I tried my best I just hope it was enough" I hear my pillow mumble out making me assume my pillow is actually Hazyn.
