Confusedly, Emma walked up to the door, wondering who could be this man that was standing in front of her door but who she saw at the door, wasn’t the last person she was expecting at her door, the main reason why she had changed her identity. 

Brianna must have blew her identity. 

Words clogged up in her throat as she stepped out of the apartment, looking straight into his eyes. The last time she has been this close to him was the day she had signed their divorce. 

What could be possibly want now? 

She walked as far away as possible from her apartment making sure she wasn’t with in earshot. 

“Carol now? The last time, it was Veronica.” Alexander said sarcastically. 

“You are in no position to condemn my actions Mr. Black.” Emma replied with a straight face. Her kids were in the house and she do not want to put their lives in danger. 

“Is that him? The man you ran away with?” Alexander said sarcastically. Alexander has forgotten what the man who he had saw it the flower shop looked like but considering the fact that a man opened was more than enough confirmation for Alexander. 

“What are you talking about?” Emma asked confusedly. 

Alexander’s gaze turned super cold all of a sudden. “You cheated on me while being married to me. You broke our 

vows! 

Emma was shocked by this accusation. How could Alexander looked Emma ik the eyes and spoke of vows. “That’s rich coming from you Mr. Black considering you were the one who asked for the divorce. 

“And you were so happy to take it!” 

“I’m done talking to you Mr. Black. I will like to take my leave if that is the reason why you’re here I will consider this conversation over. That was in the past, I’m living in the presence Emma said while looking him straight in the face. She was done cowering to him and since he had found out about her there was nothing she could do now that hope that he didn’t command his hospital to stop Emily’s treatment. 

Emma turned around, ready to leave but Alexander’s word stopped her in her track 

“Ethan and Emily are your children aren’t they?” 

Emma walked up 

to him, now he has crossed the line that he shouldn’t have if he thinks he could threatened her with her children. She was now nose to nose with Alexander, breathing heavily. “Don’t you even dare come near my kids. Even if you touch a single hair on their heads, I will come for you and I will kill you. Don’t even think I won’t,I will do it without bating 

an eye.” 

She walkes off, not waiting for his reply. What so ever she wanted to say, she has no interest in it.. 

She tried to calm herself down before going back inside. So, he has came here to qcense her infidelity, a sin he had committed openly. 

“Mom, who was that?” Emily enquired. 

“One of the hospital workers. Emma lied and hoped the convertion ended that way. 

Alexander angrily walked back to his car, his eyes glowing with Emma’s relationship was with Mrs. Walker? What did she do to 

unfathomable unger. He has a lot of questions like what 

mother? But he needed to come up with a better way to 

ask. And even if there is a little hope that she could help his mother back to health he was ready to pay her an helty salary
