Alexia's POV.

I groaned and flexed my stiff neck a little. I totally outdid myself, I made enough cookies to feed the whole of New York City. I placed my hands on my hips and stared at the trays of cookies on the kitchen counter.

"What am I going to do with you?" I grumbled.

I was pretty hurt and mad at myself when Liam left and baking as always been an outlet for me. Whenever I get stressed or angry I bake or I write but in this case I really didn't want to write my book when my feelings were on overdrive, so I started baking and I got carried away.

I snapped out of it when I heard the loud shrill of my phone. I rolled my eyes when I saw the caller ID.

It was my mum.

"Hi Mum." I greeted.

"What are you doing? Are you settled in? Have you locked your doors and..."

"Goodness Mum, I am not a baby anymore." I told her.

She sighed "I'm sorry. I can't help but worry about you." She said.

"I will be fine Mum. It is not like I am living in some ghetto." I told her.

"Okay okay. Have you finished unpacking? Did you give out cookies to your neighbors? I told you to bake some and give to your neighbors so you can build..." I tuned her out at that.

My mum is a little overbearing but hey I am not complaining right now because she has given me a solution to my little cookies problem.

"Alexia? Are you even listening to me?" She asked.

"Sorry Mum, I kinda zoned out." I apologized.

"I understand. You must be really tired, I will let you go now. Don't forget to lock the doors and..."

"I know the drills Mum. Stop stressing already." I interrupted her.

"Okay then. Goodnight and don't forget to give out those cookies." She said.

"Goodnight Mum." I replied and hung up.

I dropped the phone on the counter and placed my hands on my hips.

I grabbed two trays that was filled with cookies and walked out of my apartment. I walked to the next apartment. The lights were on so it was obvious that the person staying there is in.

I balanced the trays on one hand and knocked on the door.

No reply.

I knocked again but I got the same result. I was going to knock again when the door opened all of sudden, scaring the hell out of me.

I was going to snap at the person that opened the door but the words got stuck in my throat when I saw the most beautiful man I have ever set my eyes on.

He has broad shoulders that was practically filling the entrance and he has six packs...wait a minute, those are more than six.

Damn!

My eyes moved on it's own accord down his body. He was wearing a worn out jeans and the damn jeans was riding dangerously low on his waist making that "V line" that girls always drool over obvious.

I am practically drooling.

My eyes moved back up and stopped at his face.

God definitely took his time creating this one. His jawline is perfectly carved and sharp and his lips are plump and pink and they were practically begging to be kissed.

I would kiss those lips anytime.
