Key: The Billionaire’s Pretend Girlfriend Chapter 2
Alexia's POV.
It has been two days now since I moved to this new apartment of mine and I have spent the whole forty eight hours doing nothing but writing. It happens like that, there are times that when I pick up laptop and start writing it gets really hard for me to put it down and I end up getting holed up in the book. My Mum used to bring my food to my room for me whenever that happens but my mum is not here and that is why I have fed on nothing but cookies and coffee and maybe a little cake here and there for the past two days.
I haven't been sleeping well too and I put all the blame on that damn coffee. The coffee made me so restless that it was impossible to sleep but I had to keep taking it because well... I had to.
I stood up from the chair and stretched my stiff body, I could even hear the sounds of bones cracking. My butt aches from sitting on that chair for well... a long time.
I went to the bathroom and freshened up a bit. I grabbed a hair tie and tied my hair in ponytail and I sprinkled some water on my face and dried it with a towel.
I haven't heard from Liam since he left me for his date with that girl, Akeira. This is the first time we have gone days without talking to one another and the thought crossed my mind that maybe he was really serious about this one girl, so serious that he forgot I even existed.
You could always call him.
But I don't want to come off as clingy and desperate.
Since when did our relationship get to this? I have never thought twice about calling him.
God, I need to keep my feeling on a leash.
I grabbed my car keys and credit card and I unplugged my phone from the socket. I had to go and get groceries or else I will keep living on cake and cookies.
I locked the door to the apartment and started walking down. I couldn't help but stop in front of that hit guy's apartment. I suddenly felt the urge to knock...
Knock and do what?
Okay, maybe that is not a good idea.
I shook my head lightly to clear my thoughts and walked briskly to my car.

This is why I hate going for groceries shopping. I tend to buy stuffs that I had no plan on buying, this is why I stopped making lists of groceries before heading out to the store. I always end up discarding the list.
I pushed the cart towards the store attendant and I had to wait in line for my turn.
After paying for the groceries, I managed to carry the bags to my car. It was so heavy that it weighed me down.
That is what you get for buying stuffs you don't need yet.
I entered the car and drove back to the apartment, thankfully there was no traffic jam.
I packed my car in my spot and alighted. I grabbed my car key and phone and stuffed it in my pockets. I reached for the shopping bags and lifted it out of the car. Shit weighs a ton, I wonder what I bought that made it so heavy. I dropped one bag and pressed the car button to lock my car before lifting the second bag again.
My shoulders were hurting like a bitch due to the weight.
"You need help with that?" A very familiar voice called from behind me. I jumped a little and turned to glare at him.
"You..." the words got stuck in my throat at the sight of him.
Damn! He is a sight for a sore eyes... He was dressed in a gray suit that seemed a tad bit smaller than him or maybe it was just because he filled it so well. I could see the outline of his biceps through his jacket. His tie seemed a little askew,he must have been pulling at it.
"Are you always like this?" He asked all of a sudden.
"Like what?"
