Nathaniel's POV.

I watched her face closely and I could see the indecision in her eyes but that soon changed and she just nodded in reply.

I really don't know why I offered to help with her love life, I don't even have any plans on how to help her. I don't know how I am going to make her silly ass best friend fall in love with her. I have never seen or met the boy before but I already despise him.

I don't know why I was being nice to her, I mean I even told her about how lonely my mansion can get. I have never admitted that to anyone apart from my little sister, Natalia and I just told Alexia about it without even thinking twice.

But I must admit that she seemed really cool and there was something about her that just seem to draw me in. Maybe because she will soon become my source of entertainment. The thought of helping with her love life is so exciting, at least it sounds exciting to me. Maybe because I haven't had much fun in the past years.

My friends and I idea of fun is to go to the club, get wasted and then pick a girl up and well, fuck her. I never had a real girlfriend before, not that I don't believe in love or anything...it is just non of the girls I have ever met seems real enough for me. They were always after something, it is either my money or the fame being with me will bring them.

Shallow minded bitches.

I have tried dating before but I always end up getting disappointed. They was that one girl I went on a date with one time, we met at a party and she seemed really cool and down to earth until I took her out on a date. She wouldn't stop talking about her shoots, how big her closet is, how much shoes she had and so on. She didn't even eat normal food, she had ordered some green stuff that I didn't even know existed and when I tried ordering she insisted on ordering for me and I allowed her. Let us just say I spent a lot of money on something I couldn't even eat.

So yeah, I gave up on dating a long time ago and focused more on expanding my business and making more money. Not that I haven't made enough to last me a lifetime but it just wouldn't hurt to make more.

I put a finishing touch to the design I was making and saved the file. I absentmindedly reached out to take another cookies but the tray was already empty. I can't believe I finished that plate of cookies already.

I have eaten enough sugar in the past two days and I have not been to the gym for the past 1 week now and to think the gym is right here in this apartment. Yeah, I have a gym in here.

Alexia was right when she said that the apartment is really big, when I started building this place, I asked them to design an apartment for me here just because I felt I should have one here but I didn't really think I would come to live here. I just thought to build it, just in case.

Yes, I own this whole building.

This apartment is pretty big I will admit that but it was still a little empty and it doesn't even feel as if they is someone living here. My mum would say it needs a feminine touch. Her words were 'a woman will know just the right thing to do with this place and make it full of life'. I don't know about that but I do know that the apartment is really empty. The only place that isn't really empty is the gym and my bedroom.

I visited the gym and worked out a bit before taking a shower and heading to bed with a smile on my face because I had a feeling the next few days will be exciting as hell.

I grabbed my car keys and my laptop bag that contained my laptop and some files. I was running a little bit late this morning but I wasn't rushing either. One of the perks of been the boss.

I opened the door to my apartment and locked the door behind me. I was going to head for my car when I saw Alexia and some guy outside talking. My guess was that he is the infamous best friend. What is his name again?

Oh yeah, Liam.

Even his name sounds silly. His name sounds like something that came straight out of a cartoon character.

I really don't see much in the guy and I don't know why Alexia loves him. He isn't even well built...like me and I haven't seen his face yet but I am pretty sure he isn't good looking either.

Without thinking twice, I walked up to Alexia and her eyes widened a little bit when she noticed me walking towards her. I sent her a smile and wrapped my hands around her waist before kissing her cheeks.

"Hey babe, you slept well?" I asked while moving a strand of hair away from her face.

She looked fluttered and unsure. She kept blinking her eyes like she wasn't sure if this was actually happening.
