I giggled playing along. "I could help you study."
As the future Alpha Nathan had a lot of catching up to do, as he had not grown up with werewolves and their customs all his life. I wanted to help him and be the shoulder he leaned on when life was getting taugh. I wanted to let Nathan know that he could accomplish everything he set his mind on and that I would always encourage and help him on his way.
"That's not a bad idea.", Nathan admitted, but I could tell he thought of something else as mischief entered his eyes.
"But I'll need a reward for every question I get right in order to stay motivated. Lets say a kiss"
I laughed out loud at his suggestion, but agreed.
""Lets hear this suprise first so I can decide if me helping you in return is even in the cards."
I had no idea where this brave side of me had been all my life, but I was glad that it had showed up. Or maybe it was because I already felt so comfortable with Nathan that I allowed myself to be the me I was always supposed to be.
"I just discussed this with dad and he allowed us to spend the next week outside pack territory."
My eyes widened because of all the possibilites which were running through my mind.
"So anywhere you want to go, we'll go.", Nathan told me and I blurted out the first thing that came to my mind.
"The ocean."
Suprised Nathan looked at me and I lowered my eyes to the ground thinking that my choice was not good enough. Before I could question myself what I was doing I tried to defend my choice.
"It's just that I've never been to the ocean and I always wanted to go."
Gently Nathan grabbed my face between his two calloused hands, softly forcing me to lock eyes with his.
"I was just suprised by your humble choice Sophia that's all.", Nathan tried to explain his reaction and instantly I felt relieved. Furthermore I was proud of myself for standing up for my choice, but I knew it did not really matter to me where we would spend this week.
I shrugged my shoulders and smiled softly at him, "If you want to go somewhere else, we can, it doesn't really matter to me as long as I'm with you."
Suddenly his lips were on mine and instantly his tongue demanded entrance. This kiss was different than the others, because Nathan kissed me with such hunger that it felt like he would never get to kiss me again. I could feel his hunger for more and my desire matched his.
More quickly than I expected he drew back and then Nathan chuckled at my pouting lips.
"As much as I want to continue and believe me it almost kills me to stop, I know where this will lead to if we don't stop and I want our first time to be special."
My heart almost burst at his words, because nobody had ever shown this much consideration for me before.
"So no kisses as reward?", I asked already disappointed in his answer.
He sighed and I could see how hard this was for him too and drew comfort from it.
"How about questions?"
I giggled and said, "Seems kind of unfair if you're the only one who asks questions."
"Tell you what: If I answer a question correct, I'll get to ask you a question, but if I'm wrong you'll get to ask."
