"Bro, I don't know how you're lasting this long. If I found my mate I would have marked her right then." Flynn claimed, hyping himself up.
Chase found his mate?
"That's because you're an Alpha. It's the Alpha thing to do." Chase sighs. "She doesn't know that I'm her mate yet and I don't want to push it." His mate must be human.
"You see her everyday. Just be like, 'Hey, I know you can't sense it but I'm your mate.'" Flynn suggested.
"Flynn, it's been almost three days and you don't understand how badly I'm trying to not kiss her everytime she is in front of me. She's just so beautiful and there are so many things I want to say and do to her right now. I'm trying to act as calm as possible but Koda keeps banging on the barrier trying to get out. I have to tell her soon because If I don't I'll lose control and Mark her at the wrong time and place. I want everything about this to be consensual."
Maybe he met his mate at Briar's party, wait then it wouldn't make sense. How does she not know if she's a wolf? Unless... I sat in shock processing and trying to put all the pieces together of who his mate could be.
the stall door unlocked and I broke the connection with Flynn and Chase's conversation.
{Briar's POV}
After I slipped into my second outfit, I stuffed the tight clothing in my bag, minus the heels. I'll put those in my locker on my way to first. I unlocked the stall door and walked out smiling at Evie. Finished, we walked out to go meet up with Chase.
"Hey," He greeted me.
"Hey," He asked me for a hug and I obliged, trying hard not to blush. I took in his scent. He had a minty woodsy smell.
"I don't know which outfit I liked more," He complemented.
I rolled my eyes and leaned out of his hold, "Who said you had to choose?" I smirked up at him.
"I mean shit," he dragged checking me out once more. I pushed his face away from me.
"All jokes aside though, anything new from your dad about your shifting rights?" He asked, leaning on the wall.
