I smiled and nodded. I waited until he walked out of the room to go take my shower. After bathing myself and rewrapping my wound that was almost healed, I threw a pair of cotton shorts and a t-shirt on and pull my damp hair into a high bun.

I looked at my bed and at my door. Tala was begging to go into Chase's temporary room. I bit my lip and gave in, knowing I wanted to feel his touch as well. I quietly walked into his room and saw that he was already asleep.

Carefully, I climbed into the bed. As soon as I was about to snuggle up behind him, I was picked up, and practically swung to the other side of the bed by a pair of strong arms. His hand covered my mouth as he smiled at me. I regained my breathing and pulled his hand from my mouth.

"I knew you couldn't resist." I blushed and snuggled into his chest. He protectively wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me as close to him as possible. I took in his scent and fell asleep.

(Briar's POV)

I groaned in pain as I rolled over to shut my alarm off. I tried to move to leave the comfort of my bed, but instantly curled into a ball as I clutched my stomach.

Cursing, I grabbed my phone to check the time; 5:50. Shit.

Crawling out of bed, despite the unbearable pain in my lower stomach, I prayed it was that time, I wasn't in the mood to look for something good to wear. I pulled out a pair of grey Capri yoga pants with a plain black pull over hoodie and my black and white Nike 5.0 Free Runs and threw all of that on. I washed my face and brushed my teeth, as slow as I possibly could. Brushing my hair was a complete bitch. Every stroke led to two curse words. I pulled my hair into a messy bun, pulling out a few of my baby hairs by my ears. I cleaned my earrings and put in two different kinds of diamond studs into each piercing I had on my ear lobe.

By the time it was 6:25, I hadn't put my contacts in. Glancing between my contacts and my glasses, I mumbled, "fuck it," and shoved my glasses on my face.

I went to grab my phone and backpack, wincing with every step, opening my blinds in the process I watched as rain poured down my window.

Groaning, I snatched up my back pack and walked out to the kitchen. Going into the medicine cabinet, I grabbed a new gauge and some wrap to rewrap my wound. It was getting better but it still was considered and open cut and I didn't need it getting infected.

Once I finished, I grabbed an apple and took a large bite. My body would only let me eat a few bites, if I ate anymore I'd probably throw up.

I threw the apple in the trash and screamed up to my mom. "I'm leaving! I love you! Tell dad I do too!" I grabbed my keys and my mom mind linked me.
