Of the Internet stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is The Girl He Banished. The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to Surviving fate. Let's read the author's The Girl He Banished Internet story right here.
Mateo's pov
"There is a fracture in her arms, a ligament tear in her thigh and few broken bones."
"Yet what surprises me more is that her wolf is not in the picture. If it was then half of her injuries would have already healed on their own till now."
I stare at her pale face as the doctor speaks , asking him in confusion.
"But she is a werewolf. How come her wolf is not healing her?
He sighs. Moving back to look up at me. Reluctant to answer.
"In all the cases that I have seen before. There are only 2 reasons for something like this to happen."
"The first is rejection and the second....."
He looks at her in pity. To meet my eyes.
"And the second?"
.
.
"A she wolf being forced against her will."
I go still. My heart thudding rapidly in my chest as I look at her peaceful sleeping face.
She has suffered already huh?
I wanted to feel pity. But I couldn't. She was a murderer herself. The hell will I ever feel pity for the likes of her.
My eyes take in that long scar on her cheek, that wasn't there before and I clench my fist.
Another proof of her suffering?
I had this urge to touch her scar. To feel it under my fingers. When I stop myself.
Fuc*!
What am I gonna do now?
My hatred for her is at one side, what my people will do when they come to know she is my mate?
Is a completely different story.
They lynched her father in vengeance. And if they come to know she is alive, breathing and is my mate?
I know they can go to any extent to kill her.
What else then? Should I reject her?
Her wolf is already out of picture. If I reject her, there are chances she will die right here.
Damn man! This is so messed up.
I can't let anyone know.
Till I get the seat of the Alpha King.I have to keep her hidden.
My thoughts are interrupted by the doctor leaving. And I pull a seat to sit beside her.
My eyes trailing her face to stop at her lips which were bruised. Covered in dried scraps of blood.
And I couldn't help, trace those luscious lips with the pad of my thumb.
It was me who taught her how to kiss. How she nibbled on my lips the first time she tried.
How innocent she was.
Or was she fooling me all that time?
My thoughts are interrupted by her groaning in pain.Sweat covering her forehead as she moves her head in a no.
And I can't help wonder what was she having nightmares about?
When she made my living life a fuc*ing nightmare.
I clench my fists. Feeling angry suddenly. To retreat my fingers.
When she takes a big gasp, and her eyes widely open.
Her scared brown ones meet my emotionless grey ones.
And I see the the emotions change clearly in them.
Confusion, anxiousness, disbelief to finally settle in fear.
Raw and evident.
It felt like everything stood still for a second as we stared.
But this was not what she wanted.
Within seconds, she pushes me back. Seeing me so close to her. Breathing heavily like she ran a damn marathon.
And I clench my fist more. Seething.
" Good morning Peaches. I see you are finally awake from your beauty sleep."
I say, sarcastically. While she looks around at my room in panic. Next I know, she throws aside the comforter and tries to get up.
Disregarding her wounded thigh.
What a stupid move.
I stare at her futile attempts. Not doing anything to help her.
Seeing her staggering. Holding the wall to run away from me. Limping on her good leg.
Her fearful eyes looking at me over her shoulder in fear, while I just chuckle.
" Not a nice way to thank the one that saved your life Peaches."
I say getting up and approaching her.Crossing my arms while leaning on the wall beside her.
To see her trying to walk past me.
Her scent hitting me as the wind blows from the window. Making me wish to take her on this wall only.
To fuc* her out of her senses.
