*** general POV ***

I snapped it goes as I satvij the quiet yet chilling cell.

There was a deep and disgusting stinky smell of rotten debris, dead body cells and dried blood.

Everyone knew how deadly the crescent moon pack cell can be.

It was next to hell.

And took think she was only kept in the outer part of the cell which is the least provocative.

Nevertheless, a minute in that deadly cell can cause a huge harm.

There were horrible  insects around and many harmful knifes and sharp objects.

She clutched her arms close to her body.

She felt hurt, dejected, confused, sad and it was all topped up with anger and pains.

She hated him.

Hated him for hurting her and putting her in such a place.

He cheated and hurt her without any remorse and she couldn't even do anything no matter how powerful she is.

The mate bond was really a nasty and bad thing.

Even though she wanted to kill him a part of her always says to wait for the right time.

She wanted revenge and was sure she will get it.

She sniffed back her tears but it only came rolling down more and more.

She wanted to just get away and never come back but there was nothing she could do.

Moments later she could hear footsteps form afar approaching the cell.

Although it was a little bit far away from where she was she could still hear it.

She had a very sharp hearing gift now that she was a phoenix.

After about five minutes the cell door was opened and a guard showed up with a scorn of disgust on his face as he stared at her.

This caused Melanie to feel hurt and dejected as another tear  slipped her eyes.

She was sure everyone hated her as of now.

"come with me! "

He snapped as he walked away leaving  her behind in the room.

She knew that if she didn't follow she will have e to stay in the cell for another long time and it was disgusting.

So she stood up quickly and followed him out.

Just when she was about to reach the door she tripped and fall hard on the floor.

This caused a huge cut on her legs as she yelped in pain of the deep fall.

Blood gushed out from her ankle.

She hissed in pains and stood up, walked out while limping along.

The moment she reach outside she was engulfed in a long and deep hug which she really needed.

She busted into tears as she hold him more to herself.

She was sad and couldn't  help crying out over his hard chest.

"does he hate me that much... "

She sobbed.

Cole was sad seeing her cry and he rubbed her head slowly to help her calm down.

"shhhhhhh..  I've never seen a phoenix as weak as you you know.  Your too much of a cry baby.. "

Cole teased and she sniffed and hit him in the chest playfully.

"I'm a sad little phoenix you know.  I've got no one to take care of me.

Thanks for letting me go out of that dirty place.  I consider  you a friend even though I've only know you for a small time.

Thanks for everything.. "

She muttered as she lifted her head from his chest and looked him in the eyes.

"shhhhhh...  It's my duty to protect anyone from my pack.  I'll help you as much as I can.

Do you want to get back at you stupid mate or you want him back as yours?  Which of the two? "

Coles asked.

Melanie clicked her tongue as she thought.

"i'd like to get back at him.

For every thing.. "

She said.

"okay..

Let's do it then.

They were both feeling the impossible.

"I can't believe  the both of us.

And why the heck will you throw my sister into the cell.

It wasnt her fault that Tammy was too lousy and needed up hurting her pack members.

Trust me if she didn't teach Tammy a lesson the half of the star zeal packebers would have being dead and you would have to answer to it.

Both you and Tammy.

You should thank Melanie for helping lesson the situation and not send her to a cell meant for criminals.. "

Jaxon nagged and Ryker letting his anger speak for him.

He wasn't around when his sister was thrown into the cell earlier he would have e stopped it from happening.

"watch your tongue Jax. How dare you speak to me that way!"

Ryker growled at his friend with anger.

He was pissed.

"oh please man.  Don't tell me that.  What you did was totally wrong.  She was even limping when Cole took her away.  She hurt herself in that damn place.  You know best not to offend her, she can burnt this place down in a swift.  She's just keeping it in for some reasons unknown. "

Jaxon continued.

"oh please!  Don't tell me that..

She's just one lucky to have killed my weak men.  I wouldn't hesitate to kill her if she does something stupid!"

Ryker snapped and walked away form the balcony.

But deep down inside both their hearts.

They knew  that it was jealousy.

Ryker was sure driven to anger by jealousy of seeing another man's hug and carry his mate whom he hate and totally rejects.

But he could not still break the mate bond which was still connecting him and her.

He was in love with someone else but still felt jealous of another name around his mate.

It was driven him angry.

Jaxon was angry at himself and very well jealous of Cole who get to hug and cuddle his sister.

He hasn't done that to her in a long time yet another man did it and she barely know him.

He was the one who is supposed to give and cuddle her to sleep when she is hurt but that damn Cole had to do it.

It was driving him crazy!
