Chapter 55
Keira’s Pow
I wake up sandwiched between two of my mates, Garren and Fenris, in the incredibly massive bed of King Conrad’s chambers. Their beguiling scents are so profound, making me fancy things that I shouldn’t.
I had the most comfortable sleep despite their muscular bodies pushing against me like two heavy rocks. My body has this overwhelming urge to seek their touch again, just like last night when they healed my back.
Their willingness to heal me despite knowing that they would lose their powers was quite astounding. I never thought they were capable of any selfless act, especially one that takes away their formidability
They would have killed their evil cousin if I had not intervened. I don’t know why she wanted me dead, but it was clear enough that it was her that had sent that gigantic werewolf to attack me.
I was feeling like a tattered cloth before my mates healed me. But they would not let me sleep alone again in my chambers or in my previous guest room, so I had to accept coming into this opulent room to sleep with them.
I was afraid that my emotions would spiral out of control if they kept touching me. So I pretended to be sleepy and that kept
their hands of me.
Throughout the night I could feel them switching places, making it impossible for me to guess whose body is pressed against
Fenris’s right hand rests on my belly, while Garren’s left hand is draped around my chest and shoulders. I cannot leave the bed without waking them. Yet I cannot stay in this position when my body is having all kinds of weird reactions.
I watch their sleeping faces for a moment, wondering whether they are deeply asleep enough for me to move their hands without notice
I take hold of Garren’s hand, aiming to place it by his side. As I raise it from my chest I notice the horizontal scar in his palm. that resembles the one I got from the blood promise we made.
Confused. I gaze at angel Fenris’s hand that rests on my belly and notice several scratches on his wrist.
I am puzzled for a long moment, then my good mind suddenly realises what happened. All of my cuts, scratches and bruises were transferred to their bodies, not healed.
“How are you feeling, honey?” Garren asks as his eyes crack open.
“I am well, thanks to your selfless act,” I answer.
“What are you looking at?” he asks without pulling away his hand.
“You have my wound,” I say and he pulls back his hand to check.
“Uh.” he simply says and smiles as if it’s nothing.
“Why didn’t you tell me that my injuries would be transferred to you?” 1 question.
Would you have let us heal you if you knew?” he asks.
I think not. They may have been mean to me in the past but letting them have my pain would have made me feel awful, just like I feel now.
Fenris’s wakes and I notice that there are more scratches and cuts on his other hand. He grimaces after the scratches rub against the sheets.
He sits up and studies the injuries with a wrinkled face.
“How come you’re not healing fast? 1 ask.
Because our powers and strengths have reduced significantly,” he answers.
is the cause of that. But I am guessing they will also heal once I restore thel
7 am sorry.” I say
“There is no reason to be sorry. None of it was your fault, Garren says
Then Conrad groans in pain as he wakes. He touches his back and flinches just like I did last night.
“You got all of her back injuries. I am jealous,” Fenris remarks
Obviously he is being sarcastic because no one would want my severe back injuries.
‘Should I be the one to call the doctor now that I got the least of her injuries? His herbs may reduce your soreness Garren
asks his brothers.
“Restoring their powers would be much easier. I will do it right away if you take me to the stone.” I say
“That would be nice. Conrad says, groaning again as he sits up on the bed.
I wonder how he happened to be the one that took most of my injuries. If it was up to me Fenris would have the most. He was the rudest of them all back when they didn’t want me
Keira’s Por
My mates stand behind me as I place my hand on the stone and make the wish
“I wish to forever restore the powers of angel Conrad, angel Fenris and angel Garren to the way they were before.” I say.
The bright light of the stone turns from white to golden, a sign that my wish has been granted
I sigh in relief as I withdraw my hand. My work here is done. Now we make the blood promise to break the vows we made and I will be free to go find my father before returning to Silverpaw.
My mates step forward and hug me, their grips squeezing the air out of me.
“Thank you” Conrad says pecking my lips.
“Everything is so perfect now.” Fenris adds.
“You can take your time to think about your wish.
- sh. You will have the key to this room,” Garren tells
I didn’t really think that they would give me the third wish. It’s so unlike their characters.
I wonder what’s best to wish for. If my father was here I would give it to him. Or maybe I should write to him.
“I will my wish later.” I say and they nod
“Let’s go have a bath and something to eat. Conrad says, picking me up into his arms.
“I can walk on my own,” I remind.
They must be exhilarated to have their powers back, it’s the only reason they would forget about our divorce.
Fenris locks the heavy doors of his mother’s chambers after we step out
Chapter 35
I have always thought it extremely romantic when a man carries his bride in his arms when she is not injured or tired
It’s a special expression of love and care…
“You have urgent news? Fenris questions.
The men told us that their alpha wanted to speak to us and we would not be harmed if we accepted to be led to him. We accepted and Cedric was gentle and kind when he spoke to us. He said that his hatred for you was misguided and he pleads for your forgiveness. He also said that he has heard about your impecable bride and would love to attend the wedding,” he informs.
As far as I am concerned, Alpha Cedric and his pack has always been one of the greatest enemies of Lunacrest. But for some reason he now seeks forgiveness from the angel Kings
“Well, we cannot deny any of our enemies forgiveness even when they genuinely show regret. Take an invitation card to Alpha Cedric and tell him that his transgressions are forgiven. Garren says.
“Yes your majesty,”
Henry and the messengers bow one last time before rushing off.
Conrad starts picking me up again but I hold up my hand.
“May I inquire about the wedding? Whom is it you’re marrying?” I ask, trying my best not to sound angry or envious.
“We are sorry we did not tell you earlier because we were not sure of how you would react. We had ordered the council to plan
a good wedding for us, one worthy of your father’s attendance, Conrad answers.
“I am the brider

Chapter 33
Princess Lyna’s Pov
I silently cat my food while watching my father sip his wine like he has no interest in eating.
He hasn’t spoken a word to me since I came back to his pack. It’s obvious that he is ashamed of me, every member of our pack is. Except my mother, of course. Her love is just as strong as it was the day I was born.
“Try the pancakes. Our daughter made them herself. She is practicing her cooking skills,” she tells father.
“Of what use is her cooking skills when she has already been sent away by her husbands?” he questions with a sneer.
Mother shakes her head. “We should be thankful that they married her in the first place. Their requirements were impossible for one woman to possess. But our daughter managed to fool them into marrying her and we earned a great alliance,” she
defends me.
But my father still frowns. That alliance is over. The angel kings will be marrying their new bride in two days,” he says. My entire body shakes. My human servant, Keira, will soon be the queen of the wealthiest kingdom, taking my place.
I wonder if Lady Doria lied about taking my side. She had promised that she would come looking for me once I leave Lunacrest. I keep worrying that she changed her mind and I will be forever stuck in my father’s pack house, despised and ashamed of my existence.
I tried telling my father about our plan and the darkstone. But he never bothered to listen as he thinks that I am too much of a fool to have any plans of value. Hopefully 1 will get the chance to prove him wrong-
Suddenly, his beta, Alan, bursts into the room and anxiously walks forward. He is still as handsome as I remember, but stupidly married to an older mate.
“Your highness, the cousin of the angel kings, Lady Doria herself, is here to see you and your daughter,” he reports.
A smile curves on my lips. Finally, she is here.
My father drops the spoon in his hand and immediately springs up. “Let the nobble lady in. Hopefully I can convince her to speak to her cousins on my behalf and have them take my idiotic daughter back as second wife,” he says.
