The guards and servants stepped back, leaving only Waldo, Hughin, Garbisch, and Monica in the room.

Garbisch tried to step forward to intervene, but Hughie blocked his way.

“General Gartisch, Jessica is doing this of her own will Once this is over, we can all move on peacefully,” Waldo said, eager to wrap up the chaos.

Waldo thought if Jessica receiving a blow from Priscilla would resolve everything, then let her take it. He would make it up to her later.

Garbisch was beside himsell “Your Highness, you’ve known Jessica for so long. How can you not see? She’s a fragile girl, not someone who can defend herself Priscilla grew up in the desert; her methods are brutal…

“Priscilla has promised not to harm Jessica’s life. General Garbisch, stop blaming hert” Waldo interrupted.

Suddenly, a loud crash came from inside, followed by the sound of something heavy falling onto a chair, shattering it.

“Jessical” Garbisch’s heart skipped a beat. He shoved past Monica and rushed into the room.

Waldo followed quickly, both worried about a potential confrontation between Priscilla and Garbisch and concerned for Jessica’s condition.

But he had already made up his mind–after today, he would treat Jessica better. At the very least, he would ensure she lived comfortably in the Waldo House, surrounded by luxury.

Whatever grievances she had today, he would make amends for. As long as Priscilla got her revenge and they could live in peace afterward, everything would be fine.

But they never expected to find Priscilla lying unconscious on the floor.

Jessica stood calmly nearby, her flowing white robes swaying in the breeze, her ethereal beauty even more striking in the soft light.

“Jessica!” Garbisch rushed to her, panic in his voice. “Are you hurt?”

Waldo snapped out of his daze and rushed to help Priscilla. “Priscila, wake up! Priscilla!”

But there was no response from her.

“Get a doctor!” Waldo ordered urgently.

“She just received a slap. Her energy is out of balance, which caused her to faint. She’ll be fine,” Jessica said calmly.

She met Waldo’s gaze brielly, and there was no trace of the affection she had once had for him.

She gently placed the edict back into its wooden box and turned to face Garbisch’s concerned expression. “I’m tired. General Garbisch, please see His Highness out.”

She turned and started walking toward the door. But just as she was about to leave, Waldo’s voice stopped her. “Who exactly is hiding in your Yates family?”

He had been right outside the room and hadn’t noticed anyone lurking nearby. Whoever was hiding had remarkable martial skills, far beyond ordinary

Even Garbisch glanced around, realizing there could be someone hiding.

Jessica turned back, meeting Waldo’s angry gaze with a calm smile. “If you want, your Highness, you can search.”
