Chapter 36

Alastor thought, “Is Anastasia blaming me for another man?”

“Anastasia, what’s wrong with you? Are you siding with an outsider rather than your husband?” Steven stepped forward angrily but was pushed away by Jason.

Jason frowned and looked at Steven with warning eyes.

“Anastasia, what do you mean by that? How can you help an outsider to blame Alastor? He’s your husband.” Felicia felt a little smug and took the opportunity to provoke Anastasia.

“You’re still aware that he’s my husband?” Anastasia slapped Felicia in the face. “Are you feeling honored to be a mistress?”

She thought, “Is Alastor curious to see how I’ll deal with the conflict between my ‘lover’ and ‘husband’? Wanting to watch a show? Fine. In that case, let’s watch it together.”

Anastasia was also curious to see how Alastor would deal with the conflict between her and Felicia.

Felicia covered her cheek and looked at Anastasia in shock.

She could not believe Anastasia would hit her right in front of Alastor.

“Anastasia, how dare you hit me! You have been indecent yourself! Haven’t you slept with Jason? Don’t tell me you haven’t done that before!” Felicia slandered Anastasia with her high-pitched voice. “There are surveillance cameras everywhere here. If you hit me, I’ll report to the police!”

Anastasia raised her hand and slapped Felicia again.

Before Felicia could react, Anastasia still wanted to keep slapping her.

“Enough!” Alastor finally moved.

He held Anastasia’s wrist. “Are you done?”

Anastasia shook off Alastor’s hand and stumbled to the ground after losing her balance.

“Anastasia!” Jason subconsciously reached forward to protect Anastasia’s head and placed the back of his hand on the broken wine bottle, causing blood to gush out of it.

Jason sighed with relief and held Anastasia in his arms. “It’s okay…”

If he did not protect her just now, Anastasia would have hurt badly falling to the ground.

Anastasia’s body trembled so badly that she could hardly make any sound.

Alastor wanted to step forward but decided to stand still and looked at Anastasia indifferently in the end.

“She fell down on her own, so it has nothing to do with us.” Felicia quickly evaded the responsibility. “She hit me first. I’m going to call the police.”

After saying that, she asked the hotel manager to find the surveillance footage. “Show us the surveillance footage.”

The manager replied helplessly, “Sorry, the surveillance cameras are not working.”

“Alastor!” After refuting by the manager, Felicia acted coquettishly before Alastor in anger. “Alastor, she hit me.” Alastor raised his hand to cover his forehead, evidently suppressing his emotions.

Anastasia had always thought that Alastor hated annoying people, especially women who were too pretentious.

She did not expect that love could make a person so inclusive.
