“Oh, I see.” Anastasia laughed weakly.

Alastor only admitted that he misunderstood who the baby’s father was, not that he misunderstood her as a promiscuous

Woman.

“If it weren’t for what you did, I wouldn’t have misunderstood that the baby is not mine.” Alastor sounded a little panicked as he made excuses for himself.

“Do you want to do that so you can take my child and live with Jace?” Alastor was furious. “Come back now.”

“Your child? Have you ever admitted that the child is yours?” Anastasia asked sarcastically.

“Anastasia, I’m sure you’ve heard the story of ‘The Boy Who Cried Wolf.’ I have to be responsible for myself,” Alastor told Anastasia seriously. He had to ensure his interests because he didn’t trust her.

Anastasia had made Alastor draft a will and asked for shares, so it was difficult for Alastor not to overthink.
