“What are you talking about? I don’t understand,” Charlotte said, rubbing her wrist and looking at him with a puzzled expression. 

He was acting strange today like he had been touched on at sensitive spot. She thought carefully, and she hadn’t done. anything to provoke him recently. 

To her surprise, before she could finish speaking, Arthur scoffed coldly. He walked up to her and fixed his gaze on her. “Are you addicted to playing the amnesia game?” 

That made Charlotte’s heart suddenly tighten! 

She thought, “Had he figured it out? 

When did he find out? 

I haven’t shown any signs! 

Stay calm! 

I can’t admit it! 

He hasn’t provided any evidence, so I absolutely can’t admit it!” 

Charlotte frowned and looked at him. “I’ve already explained this to you more than once. If you think I’m faking it, then go ahead and think whatever you want.” 

Her eyes were cicar and cold, not a flicker of emotion in them. Even when she saw him drinking with Sarah, she remained unmoved, even mocking them. 

After hearing the conversation among the Hardwick family, Arthur had been thinking that if she was faking it, what could her motive be? 

Was it, like Camille had said, just to compete for his attention? 

To win back his heart? 

But when he saw her calm eyes, his suspicion was immediately dismissed.
